Nice review Court. I rode one in Houston around the demo track. Like you I was pleased with bike. Reminded me of Felts Sport-E . Trek did a great job on this one.

A2B's KUO ( folding bike) is in your price range, 20 in.wheels ,and has lots of adjustments for seat and handlebar. Dealer will know about pulling power. These bikes are powerful , and miles of smiles.

Check for movement in the Head Yoke.True rear wheel.Make sure nothing happened to the bearings where the crank arm attaches .Might need a new pedal. Shaft could have bent on impact.

I just replaced a rear one on my St2 , DT swiss double butted . Quality is superb ! Looked like surgical steel. They're so short I don't think you can measure tension. Fronts are different. I don't know the tension on those.

I just put some Jag pads on my St2 (semi - metallic , I think, ) Got mine from NYCE E-bikes, super sweet no noise yet. I wore them in as to recommended process. Swiss Stops go on next. Thanks Ron for the tip on these. Scale of difficulty 1 to 10 . A 1 , very easy to install.

This sounds like a job for Dielectric Grease. Never used the stuff , but I've read alot about others that have, on scooter forums( Modern Vespa ) electrical connections exposed to moisture. Great link to trail maps in Houston. Thanks Ann, routes look pretty cool, well drawn out and labeled. Looks like the hike and bike trailhead is just north of the Ebike Expo on Shepherd Dr. about 2miles.

Thats a way cool event, thanks sharing. On a sidenote I heard that twice a week the Moto GP track ( I think in Qatar) Losail International Circuit, turns its lights on so the public can ride their bicycles at night around the track. Don't know about ebikes. I wish the Formula 1 track in Austin...
