    Lights Save Lives

I agree. I bought a Fenix BC30 V2.0 LED bike light a two years ago. I like that I can easily swap out the 18650 batteries. I have two e-bikes. My Gazelle has an integrated headlight and taillight, so the Fenix light is often on my Rambo. I will strobe in the daytime and often run a steady...

    Lights Save Lives

Robspace1, I have been looking at buying one of these. Is that still the one you would recommend today or are there others that I should consider, too? https://brightside.bike/product/brightside-bike-light-sale...

Is The Garmin Mount The Most Common For Bicycle Accessories?

As posted above, is the Garmin mount the most common for bicycle accessories? I bought a Hornit dB140 recently and their website mentions a "brand-new Garmin style mount". After having read that, I am now noticing other non-Garmin devices that reference the "Garmin mount." Is Garmin the...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

My wife and I rode the Root River State Trail yesterday from Lanesboro to Rushford Minnesota. It is in Amish country and not long after beginning our ride there were some buggies parked off the trail. Coincidentally, it was the Minnesota fishing season opener and a number of Amish were fishing...

    Cygolite Hypershot 350 On-Off Switch

I have a Cygolite Hypershot 350. Lately, the switch has been difficult to turn on and off. The battery is charges and eventually it will come on, but at the end of a ride, I have difficulty turning it off. I suspect that it may be dirty inside. I have tried using compressed air like used on...

    Are You An All-Year-Round Cyclist?

Living in Minnesota, I certainly encounter some weather extremes. Last fall I bought my two wheel drive Rambo Krusader 2.0 to extend my biking season. I have ridden in every month. when there is a particularly icy spell, I will wait until that clears up. I haven't used studded tires, yet.

Firmware Update For Gazelle Ultimate C380+ And Batteries

I was told that there is a firmware update for both the Gazelle Ultimate C380+ and the batteries. I will do some snooping around to determine what the firmware update does and post here, if I find out. It might be the Purion system. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/us/service/software-updates

    Gazelle Bike Bell Attaching Ring

It is a black rubber piece that attaches the bell to the handlebars. Sort of like a thicker rubber band.

    Gazelle Bike Bell Attaching Ring

I need the attaching ring for a Gazelle bike bell. Can anybody recommend a place that carries Gazelle parts or is this the sort of thing I might find at any local bicycle shop?

How Many e-Bikes do you have and ride ??

I have two e-bikes. My spring/summer/fall bike is a Gazelle Ultimate 380+. My winter bike is a Rambo Krusader 2.0 in 2 wheel drive.

    Disappointed after purchasing an e-bike?

I also have a Rambo Krusader 2.0. I bought it late last year because I wanted the all wheel drive feature. It is very different from our Gazelle bikes in a number of ways. It is chain, not belt drive. It, too, is heavy. Having had the Gazelle e-bikes, I knew somewhat to expect. I has allowed...

    Disappointed after purchasing an e-bike?

No, I bought two Gazelle Ultimate C380+ bicycles in 2022. They are expensive, but I think the old adage applies here, "Buy Once, Cry Once." While it isn't always the case, sometimes you do get what you pay for. One of my other hobbies is amateur radio. Some people in that hobby try to buy the...

Horn, Bell or Voice, how to warn others of your presence and intentions

I am giving some more thought to getting a bell. The one that was on my Gazelle I removed because I didn't think it was all that useful. Is there a certain aftermarket bell that people on here have really liked?

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I took a quick ride last night after work. I saw a pair of eyes looking down on me from a tree near the paved multi-use path and took a quick snapshot. We have had an unseasonably mild winter in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, so I have pretty much ridden all winter on my Rambo Krusader 2.0.

Coast Hi Vis Lighted Safety Vests

Someone on another forums tipped me to this. Coast, who makes flashlights and headlamps, also makes lighted safety vests. This might be a good choice when riding an e-bike. Is anybody here on EBR currently using a lighted vest? https://coastportland.com/search?q=Vest

Winter Is Coming - Biking in Cold Weather

Now that winter is starting to get more real in Minnesota, I am reevaluating my winter riding gear. For those that use a balaclava, it looks like they are not all created equally. I think one that is windproof is a good choice for e-biking. Has anybody here found one/some that are better than...
