You might want to consider selling your ST-2 and moving up? Not only do you get the electronic shifting...you get better brakes, lights, and a larger capacity battery...

The Stromer ST-2 is now available at a reduced price from the original $7K. It still is around 1.5K more than the Vado but it has a terrific interface and a good bit larger battery, in WH, compared to the Vado. I really like them both. The fork on the Vado makes a difference on longer rides...

Agree with Rincon...torque on the rear wheel is really specific because of the torque sensor(20 Nm, as I remember). Hope the new cable solves the problem...

I have a question in regard to the power levels on the Vado 6. Today when I was riding in Eco mode, I accidentally pressed the minus key and got an indication in the Blok's TFT display that I was in "Off" mode. Interestingly, the power then seemed greater than when in Eco mode. I am curious...

Interesting Ravi...I'm experimenting a bit with a Specialized Vado to compare it with my Stromer ST-2. Clearly the mid placed motor changes the handling in terms of balance, but the hub motor seems more efficient...but still in the experimenting stage...
