I can't speak to the issues with your Gio, but just an observation: here in Toronto, I see far more delivery people on e-bikes, as opposed to e-scooters. The two most popular delivery bikes that I see are the NCM Moscow and the Amego EV bikes probably account for about 20-25% of the delivery...

Oh trust me, definitely the Cdn site. Specialized make great bikes, but they are NOT "pretty careful" with their online presence. ;) It took them the better part of a year to catch most of it, but to this day, the Vado SL (4.0 and 5.0) still have US speed and range in the "read more"...

I'm surprised there's never been any Norco reviews on EBR, that I've seen. The Scene VLT and Indie VLT strike me as an interesting urban rides, and their eMTBs look solid too. Feel free to send me a review model. :)

Dr. Pickles is either lying around, usually belly up, but he DOES love the rear rack of a bike. Can't keep the bike bags on there, or he'll pluck 'em.

The time of day makes a big difference, IMHO. I'm extra paranoid when riding in "high glare" situations like that.

I personally think so. The FiveTens that others have mentioned are much better than regular shoes. They're essentially sneakers with a much stiffer and heavier sole, along with a really grippy texture. I find they "stick" to the pedal a lot better than regular sneakers, so a lot less foot...

Just out of curiosity, what kind of pedals does the new e-bike come with? I'd say don't even worry about it until the bike arrives. Then once you've ridden it a few times, you'll have a better idea of where you might want to change things up, to make a better ride for you.
