In the past 4 years i have only had headwind ruin my ride 2 or 3 times and all those times i was on my hub bike, with a middrives just drop a few gears and plow right through! I feel like every time a plan a long ride the wind ends up being 20mph minimum, no worries!

Honestly for a full suspension bike in that price range i would just go to Walmart and get one of these, at least it has an air shock and a nice torque sensing middrive motor! With a few upgrades these can actually be solid bikes and at $1500 bucks i think they are good value.

If they were looking to meet a price point i would have taken some hydraulic breaks over the rear basket/box, they could have just made the box an over priced accessory like every one else does. Maybe they have a reason for going with mechanical?

The easiest solution is to sell your Bosch powered bike and use the funds to purchase a middrive that is equipped with a throttle. May i suggest upgrading to a Bafang middrive!? Anything with a Bafang 600 should get you close to a Bosch CX in performance and you get throttle. If Bafangs is not...

Imho the Tongsheng middrive is going to be harder on your drive system vs the Bafang because it has no shift detector! With a Bafang mid drive you have the option to install a shift detector. Also if your building a Cargo bike go for a middrive or at least a geared rear hub drive. I would avoid...
