What's "simple PAS"? Why not just say "cadence-sensing" so everybody knows exactly what you mean?

Torque-sensing is a type of PAS. So is Specialized's power-sensing assist.

Does this occur in the highest assist level? With maximum throttle? Does the bike have torque-sensing assist?

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you getting less assist than you expected? Are the battery mounts not secure?
