Brakes levers stopping motor? How to fix?

I took that as a play on words and that you spend a lot of time riding trails 🤣

2 piston vs 4 piston brake pad lifespan.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion.... Honestly not trying to offend as you seem like a very nice person.. But I find many of your posts are just cheerleading and regurgitating the most common of internet "facts" and you don't come across as very experienced or knowledgeable. But you're...

I took the edge off But who is he to dictate what others may find useful or how others make use of the site.

Do as you like...Stefan is nothing more than the self appointed ebr SS commandant If you were replying to a thread about Specialized... he'd applaud you.

Looking for an e-bike with the following:

The Velotric is a very nice bike but it leaves your wishlist with holes in it. No experience with the bike but hub drives are typically lacking when it comes to climbing/pulling and natural feel. Things are developing so these concerns may be not be with the latest motors/controllers. That...

Rotors for 2-piston Shimano BR-MT410 extremely limited?

They're set right on the outer edge of the rotor. I'm not developing a no contract lip on the rotor nor the pads.

Rotors for 2-piston Shimano BR-MT410 extremely limited?

When I read this thread I was curious to see how mine measured out. TRP 4 piston E23 front and rear. Tektro pads have a contact area height of 13.5mm Tektro TR203-53 Rotor in the front with 15mm of contact area. Rohloff 203 in the rear with 17.5mm of contact area. Pads and rotors are wearing...

    Throttle and brake connectors

You need to know the purpose of the pins/wires and how it connects to the controller. In other words you need the controller wiring schematic and an understanding of how to possibly manipulate it for your needs. No one here can answer your question without this information as well.

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

I gotcha... I had to ditch the suspension seatpost as it didn't allow for enough clearance. Fender got in the way on big suspension swings. If I stiffened the suspension with more air it could work but found ditching the suspension post was a better alternative. My main purpose for the rack is...

Rotors for 2-piston Shimano BR-MT410 extremely limited?

O M G! OP First sentence... "My ebike came with 160mm front rotor (it's got 180mm at the back for some reason) which I find small for the weight, motor, speed characteristics. I want to upgrade, once, and go with 203mm."

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

If you want to give a rack one more try... Look into the seat post mount MTX Beamrack. I'm loving mine and not adding unsprung weight is a suspension game changer. The possible downside is wheel/fender clearance

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

I'd give what you got a cleaning. If dust is a problem where you ride then consider rinsing off the calipers (and stanchions) on return home. Maybe wash the bike more often as well. If you do replace them, you may end up with the same problem down the road if grit is the culprit.

Easy to see.. The OP is MIA since posting and the revival was done by an Aventon troll. File this one under WGaF
