Have you cleaned the pads and rotors with isopropyl alcohol? I'd do that before replacing the pads unless they're worn out.

A lot of those Precheck are bought through Clear. It's become pretty popular. There are times when the Precheck/Clear/GE lines are longer than the standard lines, but they move way faster.
