If price was the same… R&M Nevo Automatic or Evelo Omega?

I think longevity is a big one. Bosch just lasts the batteries so much more. I have five batteries with over 50,000 miles on 18,000 and another 15,000 that are still going. Ply=us they are very efficient machines. so far, I have not needed more torque unless I want to go up 20% grades faster...

2025 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

Man almost got doored and then on the same road a honey squirrel ran in front of me instead of trying around and I almost got him all in a couple of minutes. I think at most my handlebar would have clipped the door but it is so automatic to swerve out of the way I could no t tell how close it was.

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

Maybe someday, but it would cost me 40.00 for valves and about 80 for the pump parts. knowing me, I would loose the adaptor.

Chain broke at 7400 miles....not bad.

the difference in wear between the Gen Two bosch and the Gen Four was pretty big for me. the gearing is about the same, although the Trek has bigger tires, so it takes more to get it going. not sure if that accounted for it, but I bet it did, as it took more torque to spin the bike up.

Chain broke at 7400 miles....not bad.

Man, I bet you toasted your drive train. I get 2500 miles from a chain or 3500 from an e-chain. however, I replace them at .5 wear. cassettes, I get maybe 6000 miles before one of the cogs starts skipping. I think I wore out the original chainring in 8000 miles the replacement was 42t and...

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

That's the thing: I will get plugs with fresh sealant; sometimes, I would only fill the tire a few times. but it was worse on the tandem as it would sit more. So far I have not had peety's dry up. but my tires seldom go a year between changing them.

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

both muck-off was really bad about it. Now I grease them with sil icon grease, and they don't plug anymore.

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

Muk-off was the worst. right now I am using Peety's its like stans but will seal larger holes and works with CO2 plus it does not dry up much at all.

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

Now if they plugged less with sealant it may be worth the effort.
