SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

Such an interesting city to ride (or walk) in. I imagine that you would miss most of that scenery from inside a car. Anyway makes my hometown look VERY boring, which it is, actually.

Shipping Container of New Biktrix FS Model Stolen.. Help track down the thieves.

It's going to be difficult to unload all those at once. Hopefully the crooks are stupid enough to post them on Craigslist or eBay and get caught quickly, but re shipping to another port seems likely.

Indeed. Thomas the inventor himself, and notice that he doesn't drive the damn thing ... he has a driver for that ... a smart man.

    The transition

I thoroughly expect to buy or lease an electric car or van ... but not real soon now. The motors are fine, batteries are on about their second or third generation and improving fast, but have a long way to go to catch up to a century of development of ICE vehicles during which time batteries...

    Just for fun...

I also am a Toyota believer. They are doing well with their hybrids. And hybrids make a lot of sense where charging stations are ... unreliable ... at best.

    The transition

I was in China when they transitioned from gasoline scooters to eBikes. It was pretty weird ... they just notified people by apartment block of a date, took away all the gas scooters and replaced them all with ebikes on that date, and people didn't seem at all upset. Imagine the uproar in the...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Ouch. Not the kind of hardware you want, hopefully it does it's job well and you are up (and pedaling) soon.

    Thinking real hard on this...

Never used trox tabs, but I've burned a lot of fatwood here in the wet and moldy east and I think they would be great. Maybe with a couple of charcoal briquettes if you need something that burns a long time?

That would be awesome. Even if we had to carry some solid fuel to get that kind of performance, it would be excellent. The system I was messing with probably held 6 or 7 oz max.3 or 4 pinecones and some sticks,,,

Women have used that approach for generations... we men are just slow on picking up the obvious ... tell a 30 or 40 year old you are 70 rather than 60 (or 80 rather than 70 ) and you have instant respect ... nothing else, but at least respect...

That's apparently known as the "Trump discount" set up payment in three steps ... 1/3 upfront, 1/3 halfway through, and the balance upon completion... and never pay the last third because you're not happy with the work.

    Thinking real hard on this...

I think it would cook a hot dog or warm soup OK. I think boiling water is probably too much to ask, but let us know. The one I used was kind of fun, but quite wimpy.

    Thinking real hard on this...

I used a similar device as a "tabletop campfire" burning pine cones and softwood mostly ... I wasn't impressed... only lasts a few minutes before needing refilled, and would take many refills to boil even a cup of water . YMMV.
