You said My point is if you cap it at the max speed allowed, you can fully depress the throttle every time for smooth power delivery, and not worry about going too fast. I don't know if it will work....but it's worth a try, do you have the password to unlock the controller to change the cap speed?

My Sondors is set to 20 mph(32km) in the controller, I push the throttle all the way to get my speed, yours can be set to that too, to cap the throttle speed, that should mitigate the issue. It's also the law in BC too, so there is that too :)

Frey was the only Company with 2 Ebikes on that list, so I respect the Ebikes that they put out, when considering a Ultra/M620 powered Ebike they are one worth looking at for sure.
