    That is good to know, since I was thinking of adding a spare charged battery to the rear frame rack bag just incase I should need to stop and switch batteries if I choose to ride longer distances.

    Thanks for the information, I am thinking in most of my normal riding conditions I will be able to pedal like a normal bike. Then only use the electric to help out it times when my legs get tired from pedaling. I am thinking of using the bike to ride on my beach strand which is around 23 miles.
