    Firmware update for charging limit

Yes, limiting to 80% is optional. Once you've updated the app and your bike, It's easy to turn the 80% limit on and off in Mission Control. See the FAQs mentioned above. If you always charge to 100%, then maybe there no point in the update. Dunno about having to go to a dealer for this. I...

    Firmware update for charging limit

Yes, I have a Creo with MasterMind TCU, can't be used with BLevo. I noticed on Google Play that there was a new release of Mission Control, dated February 10. After I updated, the app said there was a bicycle firmware update available, which I accepted. Screens during the firmware update said...

    Firmware update for charging limit

I just updated Mission Control on my phone and the display firmware on my Creo. No visit to bike shop required. I'm happy to see I can set an automatic upper limit on battery charge. With the limit set, I found that charging stops automatically at 80%, in line with what's been said here about...

My 1st 50 miles on the new Como 5.0

I tend to agree with GuruUno. I do try to corner with inside pedal high, mostly for better balance. But I don't always do it, and sometimes I pedal through a corner. Result has been zero pedal strikes in 60 years on 7 different road bikes. Having a bike where you have to be extra-careful to...

Rear brake disk rotates free, what kind of setup is it? Lockring? Screws?

Reagrding m@Rob's note in post 4: I see "180" in the photo from OP. So if there is a limit of 160, Priority has been misusing adapters.

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

I second what Allan47 said. SL assistance goes up in proportion to cadence until it reaches the max for whatever mode you are in. So if you are barely grinding along you don't get much help. The firmware update didn't change how assistance works for me. If you want more assistance at low...

New Firmware for multiple bikes. Only updatable via the bike shop

Sorry about your hassle. I wish you had an alternative to that shop. My cost: $15 at my nearest Specialized shop. But I wonder what will happen next time, as this particular shop also carries Trek. I wonder how long Spec will let them operate like that.

    Thoughts Of An Experienced E-Biker

Those are all good thoughts, Stefan. A bit more on tire pressure: Among road bike riders (racers too) the trend in the last 5 to 10 years has been to wider tires at lower pressure. Softer tires soak up a lot of the road vibration compared to narrow/rock hard ones. Studies show a bike rolls...

    More Praxis Chain Drop Questions

Check your chainring b4 you buy a new one. Some Creos (my 2022 for one) have 107bcd with 4 bolts. Others have 5-bolts chainrings, not sure of bcd. The chainring mine came with is SRAM AXS X-sync. No drops so far.

    More Praxis Chain Drop Questions

Not to pedal is incorrect here. On a Creo it is necessary to pedal with reduced effort through a shift. It is a type 3 e-bike whose drive train stops when the rider does not pedal. I believe this is also true of your friend's Verve. Reduced effort is especially important when pedal force is...

Specialized Mission Control App Details & Settings

Sad to say, I do have a Mastermind TCU. I found a discussion that confirms what you imply, that BLEvo is not compatible with Mastermind TCU, and it probably never will be: https://www.emtbforums.com/community/threads/blevo-game-over-with-mastermind-tcu.22788/ Apparently the reason is...

Specialized Mission Control App Details & Settings

For me the Aug 3 update to MC was a small step in the right direction. Now I can view my rides, sort of. Previously if I selected a recorded ride, I got the "trying to get location" message. Now I get a tracing of the route but with no map details ... just a white background. Map thumbnails...

2022 Creo Evo remote buttons, the Mastermind TCU and Mission Control

Yeah, a bit awkward. To start a new ride from zero requires 3 actions: select New Ride on Mission Control, reset MasterMind display with "-" button, and reset TCD with double-press. Since they all three talk to each other, I could wish that one action would be enough. As it is, I found the 3...

2022 Creo Evo remote buttons, the Mastermind TCU and Mission Control

Found the answer to resetting the TCD for a new ride. Hold both display buttons 'til you see "release to 0" It's in this video from Spec: . I can't find this in the printed instructions that came with the display. Seems like it ought to be there!

2022 Creo Evo remote buttons, the Mastermind TCU and Mission Control

Ha! That's clever. And 100% undocumented AFAICT. My next gripe: I can reset the mastermind display for a new ride by holding the - button for ~5 sec. Displayed distance goes back to zero, as it should. But this does not reset distance on my turbo connect display. I'm still looking for a...

2022 Creo Evo remote buttons, the Mastermind TCU and Mission Control

I have a mastermind Creo and the same question. I think it boils down to: Is there a way for the remote buttons on the Creo to fill in for F1 and F2? Outside of that, I've been able to change the pause screen but not the startup screen. How'd you do it?

Specialized Mission Control App Details & Settings

Hold the presses! Google Play Store says MC requires Android version 5 or later. I have 6.01. Now that I've done my research, it seems like I should be OK. Mystery not solved.

Specialized Mission Control App Details & Settings

Ha! Yes, I have an old phone. Last software update issued for it was several years ago, and I've never attempted a DIY. If there's an issue with Android version I wish that Spec would state system requirements for MC. At least then I would know what to blame.
