Aventon Pace 500 list the motor as 750 W peak brushless motor, then when you go down and look at electronics it listed as 750 w peak 500 W sustained, is that misleading? If you look around many bike companies over watt the motors, until there’s a unified way to rate motors, this will happen.
I own two rad power bikes, I have not read in recent years about Geared motors burning up on their bikes, nor have I read anything about a Bolton kit, burning them out, so they seem OK with the added power, For $1500 in my opinion they do what they say they will.
I don’t believe it’s misrepresented it does go to 750 w, With the Bolton kit it can go up to around 1600 W, I don’t understand what the problem is when most of the time you’re riding around 500 W or less
On the rad Power bike site, it States 750 W motor power, It does get up to 750 w, but it’s kind of sneaky because you would think it’s a 750 motor. My guess is they wouldn’t get the miles like they get if it was an actual 750
where I live in Florida none of the bike shops carry those sizes out of three, the 22 x 3, I thought was a new size by rad so that makes sense that they would be unavailable at a local bike shop Or online
Not a big deal to buy two extra tires and tubes when you purchase the bike. I did that with the mini, no one sells 20 x 4“ tires around here where I live. Should’ve done it with the 26 x 4 tire for the rover, did not realize no one stocks those tire sizes at any local bike shops in the area.
Bolton is releasing a new fat tire bike! 52 V, 750 motor, inverted air forks, four piston hydraulic brakes, dropper seat post, adjustable stem. Seems like a good deal, his bikes
just keep getting better!!
