Jealous of you guys with the 6.5 foot beds. I have a short 5 foot bed on my truck. Great for getting around in the city, and a solid 25mpg highway, but a project like yours is nigh impossible on a short bed.

I ordered a FS eMTB bike over the phone from Lenny last year and it arrived incredibly well packaged and ready to ride.

4' is really all you need. Never have I had an issue. The longest I could fit in my short bed truck is a 5' piece of wood anyway.

Yes, thats a tailgate pad. I'm not a fan because its a pain to lift the heavy ebike up over the tailgate. Also, I worry about the front wheel picking up road debris.

As I said earlier in this thread, SPACs get crushed when the market is overall trending down. This may be a good time to buy.

Did you drill into your bed to install it?

Interesting, and what is the wheel chock you use? I keep a gorilla stepstool in the bed and use that to help load the bike into the bed. Very stable and well built.
