    RadWagon 4

This was my concern (more like rant) when they announced the bike. It is a proprietary tire and size. I can tell you the two biggest distributors in the U.S. have neither tires or tubes to fit. You probably can only get them from Rad. If and when they ever offer them up for sale (they are not...

    Di2 for e-bikes? Really?

You never have to worry about gunk in the cables screwing up the shifting. But you do have to worry about a flat battery (although to be fair a charge will last quite a long time.) The component manufacturers have rather dictated how many gears bikes have, with higher-end bikes having 11, 12...

HOW Do I Order Accessories For My Cheetah?

Google is you friend. 😆 This place claims to have it: Revi Bikes Cheetah Rack

Direct drive + Pinion gearbox + Gates drive system = Lowest maintenance powerful E-bike

Gag. Form over function. I hate that. It looks so nice, but you are inconvenienced by its design just to make it look good. Non-removable battery, so you have to schlep the bike to where you can plug it in? One button on the top tube where you have to push it over and over because there are no...

    Lets go to China

I went on a bicycle tour of China in 1986, and visited the Golden Lion bicycle factory. It had a pretty modern automated painting operation, but it also had workers welding stuff literally on the floor. I would post a photo, but all my pictures are in transparency form. Someday I will have them...

Searching for a quality eMTN bike around $2000

The Polygon Entiat TR-E is an incredibly spec'd bike for the money. Unfortunately they are currently out of stock. Of course you also give up dealer support, but that is what you give up in exchange for a low price.

How come titanium gear not more durable than steel?

Which cogs wore out? I ask because only the larger cogs on a Shimano XTR cassette are titanium; the smaller ones are still steel. FYI, XTR is Shimano's racing MTB group. Like Dura Ace, it is made to be the lightest, not necessarily the most durable (at least with regards to the cassette.)

Harley-Davidson officially spins off new electric bicycle company with stunning first model

I would not go that far. Given that belt drive also means IGH (or something like Pinion's internally gear crank), I think belt driven bikes will always be a niche product. Unless Shimano gets on board. Then all bets are off.

Harley-Davidson officially spins off new electric bicycle company with stunning first model

Assuming it is a Gates belt, there is a rib down the middle of the chainring and cog, which engages a slot in the belt to prevent it from disengaging.

Harley-Davidson officially spins off new electric bicycle company with stunning first model

Premium...and not even a hint at the price. I wonder what they think they can get? 🤔 Also, no mention of power either. Will it be a "crippled" Class 1 bike? That would be a huge mistake if it is, IMO.

    Schwalbe's new tube? Aerothan

Not a tube for daily use; no real benefit to anyone except racers (or "weight weenies.") Especially given the cost.

Bike frame broke. Can anything be done for this?

How much seat post was inside the frame? If it was beyond the extension mark, or the bottom of the post was at the junction of the two tubes, the seatpost would act like a long lever and break the frame just like how it appears.

Best city hill climber for < $2,000

Only on paper. Tests show they really have about half that amount of torque.

    Need advice for Ebike order

Assuming you have test ridden each, get what is most comfortable. If you have not ridden any of them, toss a coin. One thing to keep in mind, it is just a bike. If you have not ridden much, and do not envision becoming anything more than a recreational cyclist, "which is best" is next to...

Anyone know what Como this is?

I do not see it. Do you have the link? Previously I said it would not be difficult to replicate, but looking again I notice it has 700C wheels, while all the U.S. Como's listed have 650b wheels.

Anyone know what Como this is?

It would not be difficult to mostly replicate it. The only thing you could not do easily is to have the wired rear light on the fender. But while those look cool, they are more prone to getting broken. IMO, it is better to have a rear light on the rack.

    A European market Como.

    Changing my cassette

Looked through your posts; you have a Juggernaut? It would be an expensive proposition, because you would have to change just about everything. The only company that I can think of that makes a 9 speed system with a 50T low gear is Box Components. Their Box Three Prime 9 E-bike groupset of...
