Will Specialized come out with a mini electric pump like Trek?

As a side funny story: My next door neighbor got a Trek Fuel a few weeks ago. They have been riding it for a few weeks. Yesterday they came up to me and asked me to help them inflate the tires with a pump that they had gotten at the local hardware store. The pump only works with schrader...

Will Specialized come out with a mini electric pump like Trek?

I like the generic pump that I got, but could buy another one at some point for my other bike rather than switching back and forth. What do you like about the silca vs the Cycplus? I was thinking of a Cycplus AS2 Pro.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Ok...so there are two issues going on here. #1: Garmin isn't using the Range Extender in it's calculation (good catch Stefan). So Specialized estimates a much longer ranch with the RE. #2: Even with just a main battery, Garmin Smart Travel Range is about 50% of what Specialized is...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Ok... So I hate to admit this, but Stefan is right in this instance. My Garmin 840 only displays the main battery level. I was misled, because I always ride with them draining together and thought the Garmin was displaying a combined %. It is close because when you start with them both at...

I'll try this next time, even if it is just for you to prove that Wahoo is better. I know you love Wahoo. 😃

What does 4/6 mean? 66.7% or 40% for one battery and 60% for the other? Seems like your Wahoo is defective. 4/6 isn't really a percent.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I don't have my range extender draining first. So when my Garmin says 50%, each battery is at 50% individually. Specialized says 75% because it starts at 150%, so really specialized is displaying it incorrectly. Ie. If I getting a bigger battery and install it on my Vado SL, the total...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Not entirely true, just different My Garmin recognizes it, but it is 0-100% with both batteries combined. Ie. 50% on Garmin is 75% on the specialized display (starts at 150%)

Ok. So rode about 32 miles today. I have a Turbo Vado SL 5.0 with a Garmin Edge 840 latest firmware. I also was using a range extender. So started out with 150% battery on specialized (100% on Garmin). I was riding almost 100% at 60/100 assist. On my Garmin, shift advice wasn't working...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Ok. So now I'm down the rabbit hole. I didn't even know Garmin had Smart Range, Travel Range and shifting advice on the edge computer. So now I have that enabled and displayed. I'll have to see how it works with both my Specialized and Giant ebikes. See how it compares to the range shown...

I like the screen with the battery, time and mode on top. Can't do that with 2 statistics

I didn't realize I could display range. I changed the odometer to range. Will see how accurate it is.

Will Specialized come out with a mini electric pump like Trek?

I've had some of those pumps in the past. Last time I used one was 20 years ago. Too much of a hassle and too much space. I'm definitely anti-manual pump. CO2 was ok, but always had to carry a few carts, because if you messed up inflating it, you were stuck. The e-pump is very small...

    SL 2 Step-Thru

I'm tubeless already. 44mm thundero tires. I run them at 40 psi. I tried without clipless but most of the muscle/nerve damage I have is on the inside part of my left leg. I tend to man-spread. Without clipless, my leg tends to fall off the pedal.

Will Specialized come out with a mini electric pump like Trek?

Now that Trek has embraced the mini electric battery powered tired pump trend with their Air Rush, will Specialized follow? Seems like everyone is split 50/50 with some people loving it and others complaining about it. The ebike vs non-ebike debated, or disc brakes vs rim brakes, etc... I...

    SL 2 Step-Thru

I'm a long torso, short leg guy with a medium frame SL 5.0 (non-step through). I have nerve damage in my left leg from multiple back surgeries about 10 years ago. Add to that, an ankle that was broken severely in my right ankle 2 years ago and I do have some issues. I tend to get on and off...

FYI.. Chatted with Specialized support, because I was annoyed that I still can't see firmware status or possible updates via the specialized app. They said it was coming in the new version of the app sometime soon (last year). Same story last week. They are working on it. argh..ah well..

So. They changed the phone app over a year ago. Since that time I have no idea if there are any firmware updates for the SL1. The last one I know of, is the 80% battery firmware. Anything new? Maybe this is the reason, they took updates off the app? So we would just stick with what we...
