Looking for ebike with Worthog specs from Canada!

I am looking for the specs above in a Canadian bike. Honestly your bikes look like iGo bikes my partner has but I'm not a fan of that look and style at all. They look like Mary Poppins Bikes to me..

Looking for ebike with Worthog specs from Canada!

So I have been looking at the Worthog 1000MD belt driven from Bolton ebikes (Area 13) and I love this bike!! But I cannot for the life of me understand the pricing! So after I did some research I found a bike almost the same by Bikeonit That makes them for Bolton but they are $900 more than...

    Kinds of ebike throttles.

@6zfshdb Thanks, I would hope 5v would not fry anything if plugged in backwards but I hear what you are saying. I'll play with the old throttle to ensure and test. Just for other people if they don't know most throttles twist or thumb are analog. The 3 wires are 5v, ground and then a line that...

    Kinds of ebike throttles.

Is anyone familiar with these? https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07VV5S2BS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_1ABRR7AQ0FE2RYJMZFJ0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Are they the same as the Bafang 5v ground and returning 5v to set the speed? Is so this is a nice press button one.

    Kinds of ebike throttles.

Ohh I did find this throttle! https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07DPCNSL7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_XVQFNNK569Z6G2Q47E27?psc=1 For the price I think I'll just cut the connector off my existing throttle and just splice it into this one.

    Kinds of ebike throttles.

Honestly the more I have been thinking about it I have thought about just installing a button that's either 100% throttle or off and just use the Assist level to set my top speed right now my push throttle is not variable it's either on or off maybe it's a cheep one and it should be variable but...

    Kinds of ebike throttles.

So my thumb throttle seems to be going. The type that I have is the thumb one and you press down. Because I have a fat tire mountain bike I am pretty rough with it and when you are pressing the throttle down and take it off small jumps the thumb throttle gets jammed down when you hit the ground...

    Outlet timer and delay?

My original question was never about about over charging a battery or charging it to a certain %, not sure where anyone got that from. My original question was about finding a factory made device that could delaying a charger 2 hours to allow the battery to cool before charging it for 8 hours...

    Outlet timer and delay?

@Browneye Thanks for your input, noted! For anyone else that wants to use a smart switch with an ON/OFF button on it here is my Hubitat rule that I used for my GE plug in smart plug, I called my plug "Bike Charger". Because there is a 2 hour delay between turning it on and when the outlet...

    Outlet timer and delay?

The solution for work I settled on is just a 24 hour mechanical timer set to 6 hours ON. At our office we are very environmentally responsible and don't like having phantom loads on if not using them. So this solution Crank it to 2 hours before the timer comes on and unplug it when I leave work...

    Outlet timer and delay?

@Browneye if you battery does NOT heat up then there is something wrong with YOUR battery. They produce heat while discharging that's just science and physics. Think about it you take 6-8 hours to charge them and then you go for a ride and discharge them in 2 hours. Power going in is no...

    Outlet timer and delay?

@Gionnirocket That sounds really cool! You have my brain going now! Simple project for now I'll just do the timer with delay. You got my brain going now, I might make a version 2.0 where I dump the contents of a charger into a project box and add a circuit to delay x Hours then charge to x% then...

    Outlet timer and delay?

I think I found one!! https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07MMGNL99 I just need to know if I have to set the timer every single time or if I can program it then just hit a button to repeat the cycle when I need to charge. I'm kind of excited to actually build one using that timer you linked to if not. I...

    Outlet timer and delay?

@Gionnirocket Sorry I didn't even see this reply. This looks doable! I would just need a project box to put this in and stick two power squids coming out for my 2 bike batteries at home (Mine and my partners bike).

    Outlet timer and delay?

The one for work I think I am going to use a 24H rotary timer as it's easy to plug in right away when I get there set it to 2H before it clicks on and then set it for 6H. I'm never at work obviously for more than 24H so when I leave for the day I just unplug it. It won't work for home though...
