So what bike does Court ride?

@Jerry LM, Court would tell you that the best bike is the one that is right for you. What works for the type of riding he does may not be the best solution for another person. So the quality of a bike's components, how much riding you do, type of riding you do, the terrain, rider's size and...

I am curious about this ProdecoTech Investor

Timpo, those bikes are not so complex; however, they are designed to reach a market looking for a good quality ebike at a more reasonable price and with US based production and human being support. If you read their company info, the reason they found that doing assembly of all the components in...

I am curious about this ProdecoTech Investor

@pdm777, yes you are misleading people. That annual report is from a company that holds a minority set of shares. It is NOT PRODECOTECH. Be clear on this. Just got off the phone with ProdecoTech and what you say is a non-issue. Companies sell shares of other companies all the time without any of...

I am curious about this ProdecoTech Investor

@Timpo, you are out of line here. ProdecoTech has been around for a number of years and like almost every big brand name ebike (take your pick) sources Parts from Asia and other places. All final assembly from the frame up (no component arrives installed) is done by ProdecoTech. SO HALT these...

I am curious about this ProdecoTech Investor

HOLD ON! @pdm777, and don't start disbursing misinformation. That company, HLM Paymeon only held a 15% in ProdecoTech and all they were discussing was their plans for their shares, NOT the whole ProdecoTech company.

    Specialized Turbo S bike troubles

meinthewolrd, The best solution is to contact Specialized and ask to meet with the regional rep. They are generally very technically trained and may be able to better diagnose the issues with your bike than a shop's mechanic. Oftentimes that gets the issue moving and resolved more quickly.

Why do I have to wait for so long before I can post after I just posted something?

Timpo, J.R. is correct. We had spammers using automated systems that could dump 300 posts in under a minute! However, I'm glad you spoke up. How long do you have to wait between posts? I think we set it at 3 minutes or so but with me monitoring the new members more closely we might be able to...

What Does BBSHD and BBS02 Stand For?

A glossary would be a challenging task but interesting :) @rimfirematt. BBS02 is the 2nd version after BBS01 and is a 750 watt bottom bracket motor system manufactured by Bafang. The BBS01 is a 500 watt bottom bracket motor system. There are numerous other upgrades between each of the three...

HELP... NEED THE SIZE OF THE RADROVER INNER TUBE..

@Shawnski, great question. But which Rad Rover do you have? Some are 26" x 4 and others are 20" x 4. Tire & tube size are going to be located on the sidewall of the tire (yes, mostly black imprint on a black surface !) and equally important, the tire pressure. If you tend to ride where...

Daymak Rogue - Looking for a wiring diagram.

@DanTheMan, you don't mention where you bought the ebike, online or from a dealer. You would still have a warranty; not sure the length; however, Daymak can be contacted directly in Canada at their main offices for help. They're a good company and I'm sure they will be able to help you get your...

    Roadside assistance

@ebikemom, you might want to check the derailleur alignment on those bikes; the chain isn't supposed to be hopping off the bike as a regular feature. If you want to look at it yourself, we have a nice Guide for Rear Derailleur Adjustment; otherwise, have a LBS do a simple tune-up. The derailleur...

    US Manufactured Ebikes; Cost/Benefit Discussion.

@MisterM, the problem with your statements is that you assume that unskilled laborers can do all of the work necessary to build every segment of an ebike or other electronic devices on the cheap. That is incorrect. The issue is we do not have the skilled labor force and we do not invest enough...

    Chain Life

We have an article which will help everyone better understand when to replace a chain. If you have a mid drive ebike, your chain wear is happening more rapidly depending upon how you use that motor. For those riders who use a higher gear without pedaling equally hard, then the motor gear and the...

    US Manufactured Ebikes; Cost/Benefit Discussion.

Manufacturing an ebike is more than just the frame, motor & battery. The latest news is on another Tariff list just dropped yesterday that now includes a 10% tariff on pretty much every single component used to make any bike, electric or not. That one will go into effect Sept. after an open...

Got my Magnum Ui6 - includes periodic updates

@Figs, do you still have that Catrike? If so, you may want to consider converting it to electric. We've done that on 2 Catrikes, one foldable, one not and they rode beautifully. Kinda the best of 2 worlds. Know all about that Texas heat too; that's were I am :)
