    Domane+ HP

There's a huge lead time for bikes in general right now. Usually Project One takes around a month I've heard. Maybe less if it's one of the more basic paint options. If you want a paint option that's NOT offered, then it's possible just costs a lot, lot more. When I asked about Project One they...

    Domane+ HP Chain line

Make sure the chain is positioned per the little inscription on the inside of the chain ring. It's not obvious, but it should help.

    Domane +HP - Fondo Milage

I've done some 70 mile rides on steeper hilly terrain. It's plenty difficult. I think if it was flatter you could do it for sure but you'd be doing a lot of the work!

2020 Domane+ hp pics flat bars

Any change in tire size will affect the handling a bit but as long as the tire clears the frame and fork adequately for debris...that's the only problem to look out for otherwise. I run 700x42c tires on the older Domane+ model and it's great on gravel.

    Thoughts while riding my Domane+

There's no "added resistance" performed by the motor after you exceed the cutoff speed. It's just that the motor stops helping you, so you feel the natural resistance of the Bosch motor internals (albeit minimal) plus the usual resistances of pedaling a heavy bike over 28mph. The same internal...

Trek Domane +HP Power Usage By the Numbers: Longer Distance Ride

You're not going to get the entire 500Wh from the battery. It never drains fully because it would damage the battery. Is that one component of the discrepancy you think?

2020 Domane+ hp pics flat bars

There's nothing preventing the HP from being a gravel bike. Just put big knobby tires on it, even with fenders. The geo is good enough for gravel riding. And yes you can put 650b wheels and tires on it. Just use some caution when selecting the rims and tires. But I've heard of it being done...

    Allant +7 Range Booster

It's all waterproof to a certain IP rating but you can't dunk them in water. Any kind of rain will be fine! Even submerging the Bosch motor for a creek crossing is okay.

Trek Domane+ HP 7 vs Specialized Turbo Creo SL Carbon Comp

You save quite a few watts from more aero and can also put out more of your own power when you're in a drop-bar position, so it does help increase the range!

Allant+ 9.9S Carbon Fiber Fork, Head Tube, Headset, etc.

it's just the freehub which pops on to the side of the actual hub shell, but it's the XD driver style for 11/12-speed SRAM stuff.

    Allant 9 vs Domane HP+

There is no 625Wh external battery to begin with (just 500Wh). Only the integrated batteries come in 625Wh flavor.

    Allant 9 vs Domane HP+

Not correct. Second battery is 500Wh.

You can try adjusting the b-screw in the rear derailleur by a few rotations.

Hello all that own a Trek!

I would spring for the Domane+ HP (compared to 2019 Domane+) for a few reasons: Kiox (now it has navigation update), rear rack compatible, better isospeed, lower motor drag when switched off, range extender compatible

Any Trekkers using a spare battery to extend your range and hows it working?

yeah but you still need the plastic bits (handle and stuff) on each end of the battery. just buying a PT500 won't get you that...you gotta get extra parts!

Sounds like it matches up with your pedaling cadence?

    Allant 9.9S issues and questions

Just ask them to do a rollout of your tire, see what the circumference is, and then input that into the Bosch firmware (though they might only be able to get somewhat close because of the +/-5% thing).

    Allant 9.9S issues and questions

The COBI display is just relaying what's programmed into the system firmware. Doesn't matter what display you have.
