    Charging etiquette

So what happens when you need to recharge you battery away from home? You go to a friends house, to a restaurant, maybe touring and are at a camp site? You get a tent site, but need power? Can you just plug in your charger and expect them to 'accept the cost'? What about at work? Any ideas?

    Next Crosscurrent S upgrade

Just wondering what people think could be improved with the next upgrade! I would like to see some sort of odometer which held the total distance the bike has ever done, and can't be reset. The trip meter is great, but I loose the total distance. I still want to see what the battery has done...

    Best inner tubes

Yes, I was worried about the sensors as well. It is a tight fit! Worked out okay, though, just take you time and try to put the wheel in evenly. Have had no flats tyres so far, just keep an eye on the pressure over time.

Why no discussions about clipless pedals on ebikes

I changed the pedals on my ebike as soon as I got it... not to clipless, but to the 'cage' (I guess it is called). Would put on my SPD pedals when I do a long day out or a tour for a few days... Just whatever you find most comfortable. I just feel more secure when I have some sort of support...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I have had no problems with the spokes on my CCS... The New Zealand website says it has 13G rear spokes, so I think this is good. I have had no problems with the cutting out of power, but have had a problem with rain when the bike has been parked up and it rained on the battery (21ah). For some...

    Best inner tubes

This is the open-headed socket I used on my CCS. Came as a set only... (I needed a set anyway!) I tried the offset wrench but couldn't get it onto the wheelnut properly and would have rounded off the nut. This is thin enough to get completely on. Juiced did offer to ship their tool over when...

    CrossCurrent S impressions

Just learning about my CCS as well! Found it helpful to learn how to use the LCD display (on youtube) to change a number of settings. ie. I set max assist to only 25kph so that the battery last longer when out on long rides; anything above that is me! You can change the max speed while cycling...

    Best inner tubes

Have recently put a GAADI Bicycle tube onto the rear wheel with a schwalbe marathon tyre. So far so good! Did a 100km (60mile) ride and not a problem with the tube. The tube is not a complete circle and can be taken out / installed without taking off the wheel. They cost a bit, but should make...
