    Well this ain't good...

Yes, you are exactly correct about the detection of the speed change. I thought about that after I posted. Thanks for the correction and elaboration on 2 speed sensors!

    Well this ain't good...

Yes, I certainly could, but I don't see how they could detect my badass device unless they changed the sensor somehow.

    Well this ain't good...

Seems this would be a software change so if current owners never had their software updated it wouldn't impact them, imho.

RedShift ShockStop Stem on Super Commuter +8S w/Supernova M99 Issue

I installed one of these on my Trek XM700 and I never noticed the difference. As I understand it these work best on Road Bikes because of the drop handlebars. Anyone else want to chime in if they have flat handlebars and how these stems perform?

Converting Class 1 eBike to Class 3 eBike

I have a class 3 eBike that I purchased first and later I purchased a class 1 mtn eBike. Both eBikes are used only on the road. Of course after experiencing the class 3 eBike and a 28 mph assist, the class 1 eBike with a 20 mph assist was rather annoying. It isn’t that I want to ride much beyond...

    500 powerpack upgrade

You are looking at around $1,000 for that battery! Propel ebikes in Brooklyn would be a place to look and they usually have them in stock.

Bosch introducing two new systems and eMTB mode at Interbike

Very nice changes to the mid-drive, like lower weight, no drag in off or past cut-off mode, quieter, more efficient, etc. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/us-en/news/interbike-2017/

    Bosch motor won't power up

I don't have an answer, but would like to ask how do you check battery hours and how are you resetting? Do you have an Intuvia on that ebike?

    Yamaha assist levels and percentage

I have a friend that just purchased the Giant Road-E+ Yamaha powered eBike and he said he rode in the lowest assist level for 30 miles and at the end of the ride his Yamaha computer said he had 78% left. That would translate to 136 miles which is about what you indicated. I have a Trek XM700+...

2018 Powerfly and 500 watt battery

I wanted a 500 watt battery for my XM700, but was reluctant to spend $900+ for a battery. I also wanted a smoother ride. So when the 2018 Powerfly 5 was introduced with the wonderful slot in the downtube for the battery I found my solution. I purchased the Powerfly 5 and now I have a 500 watt...
