Well I can't contrast it with the neo jumper but I can say I'm very pleased with the FS RX, ZERO brake adjustments in over 2 thousand miles, ZERO rust on the fork stanchions in salty coastal areas, ONE flat before adding tough liners - in fact I sometimes leave the tool kit and tubes at home...

I'm not sure, I assumed the shop put it on for demo riders. It had 25 miles on it and I saved quite a bit because of that and some scratches on the battery. -S

Mine came with an older style pletscher ESEG kickstand, nice fit, makes a bit of noise off road. I would never get one on the pedal or crank. -S

Just for future lurkers this is something to research before you buy a ridiculously limited ebike. Saying you can go faster by pedalling is like salting the wounds. -S

In San Diego they have hired a company to survey the roads for all the problem areas, nothing like Chicago I'm sure but as usual infrastructure maintenance is way behind. Plenty of folks seem proud of the toughness of their backside, even riding brooks saddles, I say whatever. Comfort is king...

Just shy of 2K miles and running like a clock here. I was much harder on bikes in my youth, and the amounts of mud in some of these photos shocks me. Best of luck with your repairs and maybe consider a real motorcycle if you are going to ride in the thick of it. -S

On the PB fenders there is an eye loop inside the plastic triangular doohicky, some clever folks have abandoned the plastic and simply bent the eye loop for a clean and minimalist installation. Front mount in my case. -S

Sounds like you have already found the best strategy, I suppose you might also be able to push off with one foot while the other is on the pedal at the bottom of the stroke, therefore not triggering the PAS right away. -S

Just fixed a gaser for a kid at the beach, keyway vibrated off clutch spline. Also did 40 miles on my Haibike today. -S
