You should look at the Wahoo Element Roam. Works great on my Creo, the Wahoo system is more intuitive than Garmin’s.

Q factor is pretty much fixed by the bike geometry, esp if the crank arms and crank axle can‘t be changed. Changing pedals and moving cleats will change the stance distance at the risk of your heels rubbing on the crank arms.

I am frustrated with having to turn the motor off to ride without power. When I turn the bike off I loose the connection to MC and my Wahoo. Ebikemotion system has a zero power level and allows you to stay connected when riding without power. Is there something that I am missing?

Assuming you want to ride in the near future, availability will be a major issue. The simple option is to get DT Swiss or Mavic wheels that fit, either would be hard to beat
