    Tsdz2 Commuters?

I always take the battery inside. I am just curious about the motor mostly on very hot days especially with the history of the Tsdz2 over heating.

    Tsdz2 Commuters?

Do any of you commute on a 36v version? I just picked up a Marin Muirwoods recently and I am looking to do a stealth build using a Reention Cuttle battery. I am curious about the Tsdz2 holding up in all weather conditions. My bike will be locked up outside in extreme cold and hot weather. Any...

So how is this build holding up? Is this the Tsdz2b with OSF?

    Stealthy Cruiser EBike

Slick build, some red zip ties and that is about as stealth as you can get. was your whole ride on turbo? Terrain? I am guessing on lower levels you could probably squeeze 20 miles or so out of one of those batteries.

interesting brake rotor driven conversion kit

It is not a bad idea but that cost and the fact that you can't swap out batteries is a no go.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

This looks a lot easier than having to swap out the controller on the Core 5 or 500 which I have had to do.

    loving my Prodigy

I am picking up a Gravel Roadster in October and seriously considering saving up for a Prodigy also. After 2 years with my Core 5 which is a damn good bike for the money I want quieter motors.

    Thoughts on Vvolt ebikes?

I have been eying up their bikes and the only thing that gives me pause is the 10ah batteries. Even with their cheapest model the Alpha which is $1400 should at least come with a 14ah which is the market standard.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Well it looks pretty straight forward installing the add on battery and I imagine if you just wanted to use it you could just remove the internal battery and it would still work.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Well I am pulling the trigger on the Gravelster, I might even sell my Core5 and get 2. might run one with just the add on battery for winter riding. Anyone know where to get those Reention Cuttle batteries? I wouldn't mind having an extra.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

So how responsive is the cadence sensor on the Gravelster? I have a Core 5 now and adjusted the sensor to the most sensitive setting and there is no real lag and the motor stops right away when I stop pedaling. Is it the same?

    2023 Trek Fx+ and Dual Sport+

My bike is locked up outside for roughly 10 hours a day and I know if it had an internal battery it would be damaged in the summer on those 100 degree days.

    2023 Trek Fx+ and Dual Sport+

I get it. If I didn't use the bike for commuting to work I would probably get one of these. Having the battery exposed to the heat and cold for 8 or more hours a day is my concern for the battery. I like the bikes and the price is right too.

    2023 Trek Fx+ and Dual Sport+

The only thing that I see as a knock on these models is the fully integrated battery. For commuting most people need to be able to remove the battery to keep it out of the elements for long periods of time because a lot of people don't work in an office building.
