So back to my question: does the new S app connect with a heart rate monitor? I already know my garmin does and the old MC app did but the new S app doesn’t seem to.

Not sure what you mean by head unit. I have a creo and I use a garmin edge 130 on the bike. That does show my HR data because I paired the monitor to it. I don’t see any HR data in the new S app, and no way to pair one. The old MC app did display it and auto paired with my HR monitor.

Just took my second ride using the new app. It seemed to work well but like you, it didn’t record heart rate. I don’t see any options to pair a HR monitor with the app either. My polar monitor works fine with the old MC and with BLevo. I’ll stick with using BLevo and my garmin 130.

I agree that Blevo is much better data collector than any of the Specialized apps. I found that if I set my tuning in Blevo and then later open Mission Control, those MC settings have been changed to whatever I set with Blevo. I only use my Garmin (edge 130 +) while riding, but I run Blevo on...
