    On The Road Repairs

I carry a pair in my bike bag but never have had to use them on the trail as yet but have used them in my garage a couple of times when changing tires on my Rad Rover which weighs around 67 lbs without the battery. They work very well.

    The Experience of a Bicycle

I wonder which is worse: a gas chainsaw or an inverter generator + electric chainsaw. I know the generator makes a lot less noise. I used it with an electric pole saw at the entrance to my driveway to make the UPS driver happy and they did a very good job with not too much noise. I don't have...

    The Experience of a Bicycle

There are three different models of corded chainsaws at my local Home Depot plus several more that can be ordered through them as well as plenty on Amazon. I've had good luck with my corded lawn mower, blower, weed whacker, and pole saw. I have various cordless power tools. Of three cordless...

    The Experience of a Bicycle

I've pretty much replaced my stuff too with electric; lawn mower, blower, weed whacker, and pole saw but in all cases went with corded. Way less expensive, more powerful, and I don't have to worry about dealing with worn out & very expensive batteries. When I feel like I need a new chainsaw...

    The Experience of a Bicycle

Not me. I don't care much about speed but I hate regular bikes. My ex like to ride so I bought a bike back in the 90's. Spent $400 for the bike. Had a zillion gears to deal with and, by the time I was down to one that allowed me to ride up hill, snails were moving faster. 90lbs of air in the...

What's the best saddle for long rides?

Thanks for that link. I liked the look so thought I would try one. It arrived the other day and I gave it a 20 mile test ride today. This is my 5th saddle including the one that came on the bike. The previous was a Dalway which liked just fine but this one is better. They are both pretty much...

    Throttle disconnect?

It should plug in fairly close to the throttle in case the throttle fails and needs to be replaced. I unplug the one on my rad rover before riding local park trails that only allow class 1 bikes.

How far to run down battery between charges

My rides average about 20 miles. When I'm done it shows either 3 or 4 bars out of five so guessing I use maybe 30-40 percent each ride. I fully charge after each ride. At the end of the season (late Nov.) I run them down to about 70% and store them in a closet until spring. I balance them...

In my case the bike is either in my garage or under my ass so I've not bothered to buy a lock.
