    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

I just purchased the Omega (last day of a $500 discount) for my wife. It's seems to be pretty much a Serial 1 type bike with more power and a throttle. My wife insists on having a throttle although she seldom uses it ... At the price I paid which included a 4 year warranty and the...

Evelo Omega - 200 Mile Review

Great review, thanks for all the information. I wanted this bike for my wife I have the Enviolo Automatiq on another ebike (Serial 1 Rush Cty S) and it is a great drivetrain. She has ridden my Serial 1 and although it is too big for her (it's an XL) she loved the bike in general and especially...

    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

Yeah, the phone works fine as the basic Brose Controller on the Serial 1 provides me all the function and info I need save the Inviolo cadence settings that I now have easy access to with the Inviolo App. This can be done as a pre ride setup step or, real time ride and adjust. Again, with my...

    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

My thanks to both you and the Alaskan for the response and suggestion. I decided to dive into the Enviolo App today and after pairing it to my hub, I used my phone and the App to change cadence settings on the fly as I rode. I'm afraid this was a situation where my assumptions about the...

    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

Having a gen 1 Serial 1 Rush Cty Speed, I bought it as my 2nd ebike for slow recreational riding with my wife and when we travel with our bikes. It was also intended as an easy hop on and ride bike with little or no training required for friends and family. For me the default cadence of 75 rpm's...

Known Issues & Problems with Rattan Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I understand you're frustration. Buying direct from these Chinese companies has it's issues. Some feel better (and safer) using Alibaba which provides some buyer protections. But it really is caveat emptor when buying direct from China. I'm long past buying any cheap ebike as I ride a lot (500+...

    New Serial 1 RUSH/CTY Speed

They use Presta valves and so it's both harder and a very messy process to inject the sealant into the tube. Try Tannus inserts instead. They should give you all the flat protection you need and, you can short ride them home if you do get a flat.

    Are You Kidding Me Pricing?

I bought my Serial 1 Rush Cty Speed from my local LBS (Mike's Bikes) and only paid sales tax. My 2021 size XL (I'm tall) was Black Friday discounted $1000 last fall and so was a great value at $4300 out the door. The MSLP has gone up a bit since due to the new AP and associated hardware/software...

Generic MD 1000 and HD 750 ebike model discussion

It is not really a mountain bike (more of a hunting/adventure bike) so the fork upgrade is probably unnecessary. I had an RST and the standard cool looking inverted front fork will do the job. Good price and a fun bike to ride as long as the large frame fits you ...

    New Serial 1 RUSH/CTY Speed

Thanks for the perspective ... Serial 1 seems to be sticking to this no upgrade position for the Gen 1 bikes. I have an Riese & Muller with a good ride control app by Bosch and the R&M is my prefered distance/speed bike so the Serial 1 is relegated to more casual rides with my wife. I suppose I...

MIK system works with Serial 1 racks

Not Rudy, but I tried it and no it will not fit on the Serial 1 front rack. Also found is a has a rattle that is very annoying. It must be at the 2 plastic connection points. Anyone experienced this and have a fix?

    Bikonit MD & HD accessories

AFAIK, they never published the involved serial numbers. You had to send your battery serial numbers to FTH Power and they would let you know if they were in the problem batch. Best to contact whom ever you purchased from for that info.

    Bikonit MD & HD accessories

I can only speak to the MD1000 battery securing method and in that case, I learned the hard way by having a battery fall out while going down hill at 30 mph which could have caused my battery to explode and or burn. As it turned out, there was only cosmetic damage to the battery but it prompted...

    Enviolo vs Rohloff E14

I hope you meant insight (although I have been accused of the latter tactic) ... :) I would place the the Enviolo in the non off road category. That doesn't mean it can't work but certainly not what it was designed for. I only ride my R&M on the longer ride (50-60 miles) that includes some...

Known Issues & Problems with Eahora Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

The problem here is customer expectations. Cheap (it's all relative) ebikes have serious liabilities and the "manufacturers" profit margins do not allow for any level of customer support. So when you buy one of these "bargains" you should expect that you're on your own. Some here get lucky or...

Undertaking legal actions against Watt Wagons

Ahh, my old friend Tom D. I see your still riding the Watt Wagon wave but sadly, it appears there may be rocks (really big ones:eek: ) ahead. In any case, that as you say "POS I bought from China" is very similar (component wise) to those wagons full of watts you prefer. Of course I only had to...

Serial 1 Bash Mountain (single speed mountain ebike?)

The Serial 1 bikes are all general purpose riders and frankly, they are great if you want a quiet, ride around town bike path kind of ebike. For most ebike buyers and riders, they are a well made, nice component, excellent warranty solution that is better than most.
