Known Issues & Problems with Priority Bicycles Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

If it's the belt, a number of ways: 1. The belt is either too tight or too loose. If too loose you'll usually get skipping when you put pressure down. Too tight it will give a ticking sound. 2. Use either the Gates app or the Krikit 91107 belt tension gauge to check tension. Priority will...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Nice! Thanks, good to know. I need to get up there sometime and bring my beach and xc bikes (both single speed non-ebikes however). Here's a shot from last week at South Beach south of Newport. Basically just me and gulls, a couple seals, a few herons, pelicans and some snowy plovers.

Increase speed limit on Priority Current?

Ask them, though it's probably in the settings. I have 2 Priority bikes (non-ebikes). They respond REALLY fast. EDIT: It is in the settings. There is a video on the Priority site - "How to use your Priority Current"...

    Roadster V2 Belt snapped

You can order the 118 CDN ($49.99) or the CDX ($89.99) from Priority Bikes. Plus some shipping I think. CDN is in stock (didn't look at the CDX). https://www.prioritybicycles.com/products/gates-carbon-drive-replacement-belt?variant=1224752332820 Nathanael have you installed the belt? The...

    Rode my acoustic today.

Guessing in the Gorge somewhere - but where??? Dog Mt? Just hiked Eagle Creek last week. Was hard to see the devastation but Punch Bowl still is magical if you just look down.

Singlespeed, hub drive, torque sensor, under 40 lbs?

FYI - Ride1Up now has the non throttle Gravel on sale for a 100 bucks off ($1145).

Singlespeed, hub drive, torque sensor, under 40 lbs?

Actually I believe only the Gravel is now coming with the throttle version. It's my understanding the regular Roadster does not. But you may wish to confirm with Ride1Up. But that being said I believe you say that Columbia has a max of 250 w. The Roadsters hub motors are 350 w nominal.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Interesting on the tire fitment. I note on the Ride1Up advanced geometry specs the L fork size is 2mm longer than my M size. I think on the L size you will receive the WTB's. Will be good to see what you find out and yes report back. BTW the tooth count on the gravel is 120. This Gates site...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

I agree on the torque sensor and wish the Roadsters had them in addition to the cadence sensor (like my old Yamaha powered mid motor Haibike had). So for you the Roadsters may not work, though I don't know what your riding criteria is. That being said I find the V2's cadence sensors to be...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

The new gen Gravel has a throttle. The non gravel I don't believe has that option basis looking at the components and from reviews. I also believe on the Gravel one can deactivate the throttle mode in the settings and may also be able to adjust the PAS assist level speed cut off...

Does e-Biking Help You With Other Sports?

Does (e)biking help with other sports? Probably but it may depend on the other sport to how much. So for me only - Yes to a point. My other "sports" are hiking and rock scrambling/bouldering. As PSm has said it does make a difference with such things as cardio and endurance. But so does cross...

Known Issues & Problems with Priority Bicycles Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

A lot of times we hear how bad a company is. This is the opposite. So I have a Priority single speed (non-ebike). Decided to change out the handlebars (perfect btw). As I was doing this, I had noted the headset was a tad loose, so of course I wanted to correct. Easy. But hey while I'm...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

That's so funny :). We do the same. But God I love my (regular) Roadster. It just fits me. My other neighbor has the regular Roadster. He weights well over 200#'s. An old Roadie but age and weight set in. He so liked his, that when his original was stolen he got another one. The regular...

And the Fixie even a little more difficult than the Gravel to keep up at higher speeds with its 58/20 gearing (77 gear inches vs 79.5 for the Gravel or about 109 rpm at 25 mph).

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Maybe I can help a little. I have both the regular Roadster and the Gravel (plus a non-ebike single speed - I like SS's). My neighbor has the Rize Fixie which I have ridden, though not for any extended distance. I MUCH prefer the Roadsters and actually so does he. A couple of things he (and...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Maybe some of you already know this but - For those of us with the "older" displays I noticed something today fiddling with the settings. If you go into settings/speed you can adjust the speed up or down (pushing the arrow buttons) from the OEM 40km (24+mph). If you set it at 32km (19+mph) for...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

Per Ride1Up, here is the link to the original displays. And you're right they aren't easily accessible on their site. https://ride1up.com/product/roadster-display/ I also asked them just how much would the new display/controller cost. They gave me a kind of cost estimate though no stock on...
