The torque sensor is not as responsive as my Bosch ebikes, but you do feel an increase of assistance as you pedal harder. With a throttle on the right handle bar (Bosch mid drive motors don’t have throttles) you can always add some power if the Torque sensor is not responding to your needs...

I now have over 4,500 miles and have had no issues at all. I did replace the chain just to make sure I prolonged the life of the rest of the gear set. Very happy with upgraded firmware giving 85 newton meters of power now.

I’ve seen that a few times after charging my Bosch E-bikes, the Allant+ 8s will show 99% or 98% and then 3 or 4 times in a row it’ll be 100%.... I don’t think It indicates anything abnormal. Next time you have the firmware updated as the bike technician how many hours you have used the battery.

I always leave my bikes with a charger cable in after riding them. I do this with all five of my bosh electric bikes. I have never had any problems.

Here is the latest firmware updates for the various bosh motors I believe my firmware is showing the latest update which is 1100

I just got my Allant+ 8s firmware update! The bike was quick and powerful before this motor update....But now you can feel the xtra boost! No increase in the maximum assisted 28 mph but you get there a little quicker and can hold it a bit easier. Very happy with this new found power.

Does anyone know if the firmware update has been issued to go to 85 Newton meters on the Bosch 2020 cx and speed motors?

My allant+ 8s has been perfect bought in Jan 2020, have 2000 miles on it. Only app software issues very minor with Cobi. Compss off 90 degrees snd contact list showing different contacts.

press button on right side of the cobi holder to connect your phone app.....works for me when it is not automatic. Also press when done with a ride, puts app in correct mode for the end.

What I mean is that when the unit is put in overdrive the lowest gear is not as low as it was before when it was not in overdrive. Overdrive simply shifts the range of gears, it would be like going from a 42 tooth front sprocket to say a 52 tooth one. So if I was paddling without any power going...
