The employees at Specialized aren't infallible!!! A few months back a member here stated something along the lines of Specialized not providing a warranty on bikes purchased used. I provided the webpage stating the opposite and it wasn't until he called Specialized again that he believed me.

Kuat has an accessory for some of their racks called the Trail Doc. It might give you some ideas? I think Park Tool used to make a stand that would slide into 2" receiver hitch but I couldn't find any information on it. You could probably make something out of hardwood that would work or maybe...

I designed a clip and 3d printed it. I made a set of these years ago but wanted to try it this time without putting any holes in the bucket. The last time I just bent some clips out of aluminum and it worked okay.
