@EMGX Yeah, I know range depends on myriad factors, I was just hoping to get some ideas... Looking at your pics there is too much of a spread for me to guess what I might get out of 13Ah. Somewhere between 55 and 132 miles, right? But if I can get 20 to 30 miles with some reserve left over...

So I just took the Black Cypress for a quick 10 mile ride. I was hoping to see what kind of range I get out of the TSDZ2. Unfortunately, 10 miles was not enough to budge the green bar on the display. It still thinks it has 100% left on the battery. so here's the question... what kind of range...

My brackets are custom designed to fit the tube. I am going to be doing a new bracket to fit the triangle shape of the cypress down tube. I would think you could machine any shape you want out of delrin. Another option is to machine a delrin rail and secure it to the downtube using hose clamps...

I'm still waiting for my bottle batteries... I can't wait to do a test of the range... and also the aesthetics on the bike! Ha! Mike...

Successful TSDZ2 build. I chose the TSDZ2 because it has the torque sensor instead of cadence. I prefer the natural feeling that I get from a torque sensor, albeit with bionic legs. I got the ECO+ motor kit which contains custom programming up to 100rpm before the assist backs off. I figure...

I just finished building up a TSDZ2 this morning, which has a torque sensor. It is so sweet! The torque sensor feels more natural. It also make you feel like your legs are naturally bionic! If you already have a battery, and you only need a motor kit, consider the TSDZ2 kit. It's not "THAT"...

The 2022 is a nice model... I would take the 10% discount on the 4.0 and run. You'll be glad you did! :)

Ouch... you could 3d print a bracket for each side of the Giant display, and hang something forward of said display, but yeah, geesh. Why do they have to make it so hard?
