    Happy wife, Happy Life!

I had tandem friends. He liked to mash the pedals and not shift. She would just stop pedalling! I had another set of tandem friends. Following the two different sets was like night and day. The second couple were so darn smooth. They would take off from a stop and it was like following the...

    Turbo Creo TCU Display Times-Out

Is it timing out or actually turning off? Does it instantly come back by a brief button tap or do you have to turn the bike back ON?

He has the right seat position and a very high pitched voice!

I'm apparently too short (Medium Creo) to use Ergon CF3 split carbon post. It runs into the boss for the water bottle cage on the inside of the seat tube.

Replacing The Coin Battery In the Specialized SL TCU Gen 1

Where'd you find plastic tweezers? I see reviews on some Amazon items are pretty poor!

And if not, you can take up dentistry! ;) Useless instruction! Been there, done that. Bike shop did it for me or maybe not.

Replacing The Coin Battery In the Specialized SL TCU Gen 1

There is almost no room inside of that battery compartment. I tried using very fine tweezers and still could not get a grip on the darn thing. Let's see what Stefan has to say.

I join the others in suggesting to see a doctor just in case you need an antibiotic to treat an infection. I once got an abscess down there and it needed oral antibiotics as well as topical treatment. I have used this product: Purchased from other sources but here's the Amazon link...

Replacing The Coin Battery In the Specialized SL TCU Gen 1

It is worst than that. It is nearly impossible although it appears Stefan did it. And great close up photos by the way.

    Creo SL vs Vado SL

I've used all of the spacers to raise my Creo bars and then replaced the stem with one with a higher (highest??) rise to accommodate my old neck. I still prefer the multiple hand positions of a drop bar. It is probably not evident in the photo. But in the second photo you can see how my...

Mission Control not connecting to my Creo

Oh, and I do have my PIN number. I should check and see if I can connect now just for grins

Mission Control not connecting to my Creo

It took a bunch of effort this morning. On/Off. On/Off. I reset the TCU (or whatever the toptube thingie is called). Phone BT on/off and again. Phone on/off. Connecting.... Then one more time. Connected - until the next time I want to use it on a bike ride. Speaking of electronics...

Mission Control not connecting to my Creo

This is the second ride in a row where I've fired up Mission Control (MC) and all it did was "spin" and say "connecting" but never did connect. I turned on/off/on the Creo and forced closed MC. I even UNinstalled it today. That did not help either. It has generally worked for the last two...

Any experiences removing Creo internal battery and riding only with Extender?

They do. But the thighs get heavier. Tradeoffs.

Any experiences removing Creo internal battery and riding only with Extender?

When you pick it up, it feels like a brick. A round brick but nonetheless a brick. I know when I return from a ride and carry it up three sets of stairs, it is THERE! :)

Any experiences removing Creo internal battery and riding only with Extender?

Thanks for some of your details. I was just discussing this with a friend yesterday. Having your own bike versus a rental is much better.
