Interesting. I replaced mine several times already and didn't notice clear pattern when do to this - their state depends a lot about how much I ride, where do I ride and, most important, how many rainy rides I am doing. Usually I just check them every couple of weeks and replace as necessary.

What about them? Just replace as necessary. They don't need much attention, comparing to chain and cassette.

Or you can just use belt and forget about all these issues :cool:

Sad news. I was following their Valeo-based bikes, since they were supposed to be first in US with integrated hub+motor setup. Also, 2kW battery setup was unique as well. Now will have to wait what dual-batteries options will Bosch-powered bikes offer by next riding season - they definitely...

Ask your friend. Previous-gen Bosch motors used by C380+ doesn't have user-updateable firmware and requires Bosch-authorized dealer with special software to do that. If your friend happen to have one, he should know the changelog as well.

This monster with its weight, power and speed should also be ridden in streets only. Hope you are not thinking riding it on sidewalks and bike lines.

Consider Priority Current as well, especially if you can find it locally in your Costco - great ebike for reasonable price.

Might not be possible due to the rear hub mounting design - I bet I saw a topic on this forum when somebody tried to retrofit the Automatiq to the C380 or C380+ and found out this won't work because eshifter can't be mounted to the frame... If only Kindernay was still alive I would totally...

Don't agree with you here, sorry: Shimano 5 is 263% range and Enviolo is 380% - the difference is not "slightly" here for sure. Regarding the insufficient range - might be true, my current Kindernay VII hub has 428% range and it is more the sufficient for my needs, I and VII gears are rarely...

You need long hours to charge it to 100%, but charging goes faster on lower battery level. I think to get from 20% to 60% you need like 2 hours or so on my bike, which is pretty good - can be combined with rest/food break if the infra is present.

I am running 50mm Schwalbe 365 on my c380+ (2021). This is the widest Gazelle frame can accept (clearance is few mm in some places for reap wheel), but it works great! Not sure if 2023/2024 Gazelle can accept wider options, but older gen for sure can't.

Just announced Priority Gemini with Pinion Smart.Shift in Titanium is super cool (and costs like a top-grade ebike btw)! Would be my choice probably if money not a question as an non-electric bike right now.

This is quite common for IGH - none of the hubs allows you to shift easily under the load. Electronic shifters potentially allows shift detection to be used (I think Rohloff/Bosch combo offers it - correct me here if I am wrong). Do you have any info about their electronic shifting...
