The ultra is capable of MUCH more power than the bbshd. Of course since I'm stuck with CANBUS, and limited technical skills, I doubt I'll ever see more than 1,000 watts. I do wish the ultra was as quiet as the bbshd.

The primary reason for buying this bike is the bafang ultra motor. I've read about some reliability problems and issues with noise but hopefully I'll have good luck. It seems the motor needs grease after a short time and it's a real PITA to take it out of the bike , open it up and grease it...

$5,500 for a bike.. Just not going to happen. $2,899 is bad enough. I cant imagine being one of the people who paid $7,100 for the FLX blade 2.0 only to see the price suddenly drop to $5,500

4 years on mine.. Zero issues. Replaced the chain at 2,000mi. but it wasn't even at .5% yet. Yamaha drive has been flawless

I don't think anyone said there is one "best lube" but I'd definitely chose one of the top 5 in testing even though the testing is inherently flawed

I'd hazard a guess that a lube that does well on an o-ring chain will also do pretty well on a non o-ring chain. The chains are very similar in construction minus the o-rings>In fact I beieve the tester mentions non o-ring chains were part of the testing. I had a non o-ring chain on an 1100CC...

I agree but some of the poorly rated lubes should be avoided IMO. I doubt the testing is so bad that it can't identify lubes that don't work well

ZFC is a brand of chain lube. Do you really think their tests are going to be "much better" than independent testing? LOL

You keep posting w/o actually having viewed the test. I'm not "forgetting" that o-ring chains are different than conventional chains and neither does the test. Actually the tests do ineed indicate how well the lube gets inside the chain where it's needed. Post up your better bike lube tests please.
