I used my battery 4 times since I got it. One glitch was it didn't display the power remaining correctly on one or two rides. It stayed white until the battery was depleted.

I think the bottle cage screws are aluminum, as they're non magnetic and very light. I think I'll use some stainless screws for strength, since the battery is relatively heavy... The instructions seem to indicate that I should have gotten screws with the battery.

I set my L1 power to 50% as an experiment to extend the range of the battery. It did, but I didn't feel like it provided much assist at all, so set it back up to 100%. I wonder if there's a difference in drag between having the power off and L0?

Are you going over the 20 mph cutoff speed on the flats? If so, it's not reasonable to expect the Gain, which weighs 10 lbs more than your other bike, to be as fast. There also may be a small amount of drag in the hub, however I don't know if there is or how much. Cutting back the power levels...

I'm not seeing this issue at all, but you can use the phone app to adjust the power percentage for each level. You have to have the system turned on and the app paired to the system. It's under Motor Maps in the app. Changes must be saved to be effective. The system does not have a torque...

Maybe, but that bike is a lot heavier, probably doesn't handle as well because of that, and the motor has a lot of drag if you have to pedal it unpowered. I guess it depends on how much power you really need. On my Orbea Gain, range, not power, is the issue for me, and the Creo is similar to it.

How do you know the power is cut by 2? Did Wilier provide the power curves? My Orbea goes to 20 mph before power is cut, and I feel there is still decent assist provided in L1 just before it cuts out.
