Thanks Oberst! I will check to make sure she is turning the lock before seating the battery.

Is does require a key but it seems like she is having trouble getting the battery to sit right so that she can turn the key. My dad was able to do it by applying more force but the Trek video makes it look like it is easy to take in/out. The shop struggled a bit too when they tried to lock it...

My mom just got a Trek + Verve 3. The battery is integrated which is great but she is having a hard time getting the battery to click back in after charging it. Any tips and tricks?
