Might be crazy, ordered a Luckeep X2 today

Been a cold winter, not a lot of days above 32*, unlike last year when I was able to ride almost every day. Have about 250 miles on it now, I like it, quite different from my Vitilan U7 20" foldable. I swapped out the handlebars, added mirrors, compass, and removable basket, much more...

Might be crazy, ordered a Luckeep X2 today

^^ Say what?? Stan, I haven't tried riding no hands, not really my thing. Fastest I've gone is probably about 24 MPH, seems like it could be a little smoother, if it would ever stop raining here I'll go for a ride and pay more attention to possible vibration. Carlrich stated he had tire...

I recently put these mirrors on my bike. https://www.ebay.com/itm/353300570392 Quality seems good, lots of adjustment, been up to 24 MPH so far with no issues, good price.

Hi Stan, yes got the new bars, these ones https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CDPPVJYM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1OBYPICC9E0TC&th=1 The rear brake hose and shift cable are somewhat short, had to install the bars upside down, and I cut about 1" off the ends of the bars on each side. Worked out...

What tire pressure are you running? My tires were nearly flat as shipped. disappointed they didn't have a tire PSI spec, said see tire. tire said 30 min., 55 max,. I set mine at 45, seemed about right, rode pretty nice IMO. No flat spots or issues noted. If tire pressure doesn't help. likely a...

I think that's the way the quick release front wheel/axle is supposed to work. the "skewer" squeezes the fork together against the bearing nuts with their serrated faces. Looking at your pics, I see I'm definitely missing a rubber seal for the bearings, my wheel only had one on one side, thought...

I'm in Mass., pretty chilly here too. I have only ridden it in either mode 0 or mode 1. maybe 17 MPH tops while pedaling. I'm not really concerned with top speed, I ride for fun and exercise, pedaling nearly all the time. I took a short ride off pavement today, very happy with the fairly wide...

I had to adjust my front caliper as well. Loosen the 2 caliper mounting bolts, hold the brake lever on with one hand and tighten the caliper bolts with the other, centers the caliper perfectly. I wouldn't use WD40 to lube the bearings, it's more solvent than lube, likely to wash the lube out of...

Well, we're not getting off to a good start. FedEx ended up showing up at 6:00 Tue. night. Started putting it together. Poorly packaged, front wheel chafed thru the foam on the main frame tube and scratched it in shipping. Front wheel bearings/axle are hard to turn and very notchy feeling...

Floor jack lift under Bafang Ultra motor?

Look around for an old Hoyer wheel chair lift, looks like a mini "cherry picker"/engine hoist. I have a couple I paid $10. for, will list 350 lbs, break down for easy storage.

Problems installing a Trek "Range Boost" battery kit onto my Allant+ 7.

Probably Loctited. What did you use for heat? Hard to believe the bolts wouldn't come out with heat.

New to E bikes in Mass. with Vitilan U7 step thru

Well, since a search for Vitilan here only finds my post, I'll give a little update. I've put almost 360 miles on it since receiving just before Xmas. I had to crank the adjuster for the rear brake almost all the way in right out of the box, and I was having a problem with the inner part of the...

New to E bikes in Mass. with Vitilan U7 step thru

Thank you all for the welcome. I haven't had any problems with laws yet, but I hear down by the Cape Cod Canal bike paths I won't be welcome, kind of sucks, but not really surprising for this communist state, I hate it. I live in a small town in SE Mass (Carver) with lots of small back roads...

New to E bikes in Mass. with Vitilan U7 step thru

Hi, new member, got my first ebike just before Xmas. Older (65) rider so I wanted a step thru, after a lot of research decided on the Vitilan U7. Seemed like the best bang for the buck with hydraulic brakes, mag wheels, 750 watt motor, etc. Wanted one for exercise, been riding it a lot, over 260...
