    Why electric motorcycles are failing

Personally I don't see any problem, if they respect the 500W 32kph rule in my province. We shall not judge by the envelope, rules are written for safety purpose. That being said, the EMMO is probably breaking the 500W rule as a lot of M620, BBSHD, BBS02, to name a few, bikes with a...

    48v 13ah vs 48v 17.5ah - same pack, same mount, different current?

They are both built with the same number of cells of the same size, 18mm x 65mm cells. The bigger battery is a combination of higher density 3,500 mAh cells ( 5P x 3500mAh= 17.5A). The smaller is a combination of cheaper 2,600 mAh cells ( 5P x 2600mAh= 13A). It is highly possible that they...

    Stupid question. Throttle only

I don't agree it is absolutely possible to do 400 Km full throttle only , zero pedalling, in cool weather. Problem is that you have to stop every hour to charge or replace the battery if it's a good size normal battery .... I often did 30 Km full throttle at 32km/h with my hub motor 48v...

    Stupid question. Throttle only

I think all interpretations are good. I built a bike no PAS, full proportional throttle only, my choice. I also own a basic 5 levels PAS bike but I prefer not to use the PAS and use my proportional throttle all the time to get exactly the assistance I want when I (always) pedal. With a...

Throttle or no throttle. That is the question

I think the big manufacturers believe their base clients are not confortable with the idea of riding electric bikes. They do everything they can to hide the battery, motor, controller and components. It works well for them, they can sell smaller motors and smaller batteries bikes at higher...

In the OP specs, it's written coaster brake. There is only one brake lever for the front drum brake.

Throttle or no throttle. That is the question

It's difficult to synchronize all PAS when riding in group. I always use my Bafang proportional throttle.

Cruiser bike conversion - Advice appreciated

You will loose your coaster brake with a Bafang mid motor or a rear hub motor. Take a look at the Tsdz2 for coaster brake.

APPLE AIRTAGS THE NEW BIKE LOJACK?

It depends where we live/ride, the recovery success should be a lot better in big cities full of bluetooth phones than in remote areas.

Anyone take their Turbo Como Off-road?

Road tyres like the Nimbus are slippery on dirt and small gravel, be careful with the front brake.

Let me doubt, on the Sondors site, under the seat height is 30.9", 32" in front of the seat is much more plausible.

Adding something above to an already too high tube by 4" to 6" for a 30" inseam won't solve the problem o_O

I don't think it's a good idea to promote a wrong bike size. For off road use, it's recommended to choose a bike with a clearance of 2" to 4" over the top tube. With your inseam of 30", your wife understood something you missed. But it's your balls after all.
