My Favorite Bike Trails in the Northeastern US

We were going to do the Silver Comet but weather is not cooperating and being high risk (crohns) I'm not sure ATL area is where I want be. Perhaps in the fall the Neuse River Trail. Sounds like you had a nice ride @artdeco

EBike intro from “Rails to Trails”

Great article for this rapidly emerging activity. The stories for folks in our age range are similar, across the board.

What's your plan for a flat tire 10 miles from home?

Wish they made those for 26x 4 fat-tires. I carry compressed air and sealent. Seriously considering tubeless.

What to do with this old Schwinn

That's sweet. Maybe I should put some street tires on my Giant Sedona and do a DIY. I have it on CL and so far all I get are really stupid questions and re-seller offers.

My experience with Walmart Electric Bikes

I think the reason people don't use YouTube or Google for answers is because they don't know the questions. I totally agree with Harry, if your going to get a low-end bike don't be afraid to work on most stuff yourself, in most cases it's swapping out components. Often, on anything I tackle, I...

    Bolany Full Suspension Forks

Love my $149.00 Bolany's and about a gagillion other brand names they go by. Perfect for light trail riding and softening the jars when bumps are encountered. If you expand the photo you can see the O'ring travel indicator. Not bad for the price. You can lock them out also.

    best battery use

I found the best way to extend our batteries 26fattie 20fattie folder 500w/36v is to coast whenever possible and use PAS-0 while shifting down as resistance builds to the peddling. Last time we rode a few days ago we used so little battery I rode the last mile in pas5 so I could get the battery...

Can I use my XP to go mountain bike trail riding

If the bike is pretty new I would leave the lower race and replace the upper. I often tout the the merits of lower end internet D2B bikes to keep costs down for occasional riders. That said, no way would I trust the frame or welds on my Ecotric for serious trail riding that included any...

Car Hitch for 2 Lectric XP Recommendations

That's exactly like the Swagman racks. The Swagman eBike certified has the different tire cups but other than that..... Another multi brand product, a good one though.

Rad City 4 Won't turn on.

Perhaps if Rad is working with you let them guide you through it. It might be better to have their instructions on file. They have been around a long time they will get you up and running.

    Aostirmotor full suspension on Amazon

I mean if you think about it, its lighter, even @ 90lbs than say a factory125cc motocross racer..I think it's high speed (28mph) and it's "spring shock" might not get that power to the ground as it begins to pogo off the first stair lol

    Aostirmotor full suspension on Amazon

There is a market for that sort of use?

    Aostirmotor full suspension on Amazon

Other than taking some jar out of the ride I don't see this as a single track bike, at all. It looks fine for beach, forestry access roads, that sort of thing. The rear shock can be changed but that might simply encourage you to do something crazy enough to brake the frame in half LOL.

Can I use my XP to go mountain bike trail riding

You should like the air fork. I put one on my 26"fattie, works good ( its not a motoX worthy fork) at taking away the jarring. You can air down also.
