    Inner Tube valve type

I'm almost certain that they are Schrader valves … at least they are on my XP Lite. This website may help show the difference: https://www.bicycle-guider.com/cycling-advice/presta-vs-schrader/

XP Lite rack and panniers delayed again!

I just got an email from Lectric that my XP Lite racks (front and back) and pannier (saddlebag) has now been delayed to mid-August. This was ordered back in the end of May with the bike. The bike arrived on June 6th. We're not sure we can wait that long, especially with the risk of another...

XP/XP Lite Handlebar or Frame Bag

Thank you for this. Which size bag did you buy? Amazon seems to have a bunch of sizes but the one you have looks just right for us

    Lectric upgrades, swaps and insights

My wife grew up with a single gear bike and never learned to change derailleur gears. When we bought a 7-speed for her, she left it in gear 5 for the past ten years. The reason, "it sounds like the chain is coming off". Please don't laugh! Getting a geared eBike would be useless for her. So we...

    Registering eBike

Have any of you registered your bikes? If so, where did you register? And are there any real benefits to registering? For example did it help recover a stolen bike? Thanks

Our XP Lite finally arrived yesterday!

@Maineiac we've only had the bike a week so I don't want to change settings just yet. But changing that factory setting is definitely an option. Also, that triumphant grin is priceless, isn't it? 😃

    Xp Lite questions. Seeking advice

I went out and tried it so I could answer your question. Yes, if you're pedaling away in PA3, the throttle will give you added boost. But you might as well stop pedaling at that point as your legs are just freewheeling. Did that even make sense?

Our XP Lite finally arrived yesterday!

Step over height When step over height is specified, it's at the lowest point of the top of the bar. And that is indeed 22" on the Lite. But when we put our leg over, it's in front of the hinge. That height is actually 24" give or take a bit. That 2" may make a difference especially if one is...

Our XP Lite finally arrived yesterday!

First ride(s) update My wife finally got to properly ride the Lite this weekend. Yesterday, we took the route she'd take to go to work at our local Elementary school - 4.7 mile round trip according to the display. We live at the top of a small hill. She's never been able to ride up that hill...

    Xp Lite questions. Seeking advice

We've only had the Lite for a week so I'm sure there are more experienced people here who can give better answers. I can't tell you about hills (plural) but we live at the top of a small hill (singular). About 25m / 80' rise in about 0.8km / 0.5 miles according to Google Earth. But it feels...

Our XP Lite finally arrived yesterday!

Ordered on May 16th. Shipped on May 31st - two weeks if you don't include Memorial Day. As promised by Lectric. Then languished at FedEx in Phoenix until Saturday, June 4th - the promised delivery date. To my surprise, it was delivered on Monday, June 6th. We live in Central Minnesota.

XP/XP Lite Handlebar or Frame Bag

Our racks and pannier bag have also been delayed to July. I'm watching this to get ideas but I have no suggestions. Right now, my wife is using a small backpack but that's not a long term solution.

Our XP Lite finally arrived yesterday!

The XP Lite finally arrived yesterday. We took it out of the box and removed all packaging to inspect for damage. There was none - good job Lectric! It’s the blue one. I pumped up the tires and noted that the battery was at 80%. Since we were being eaten by mosquitos (Minnesota!) I did a...

    New XP Lite...

According to FedEx, our package is still in Phoenix. But delivery is still going to be today!!! Today's delivery was "confirmed" by the automated phone line. I finally got hold of a CSR who said that delivery will now be on Monday. I lost my faith in FedEx a long time ago. This just confirms...

    New XP Lite...

We ordered the XP Lite in blue on May 16th and were told 2 weeks. True to their word, it was picked up on May 31st - two weeks not counting Memorial Day. However, for the past two days, it's only moved to the FedEx depot in Phoenix and no further. FedEx claims it'll be delivered on Saturday...

    New XP Lite...

It's thanks to posters like @myers830, @tbhausen and @Slorider that helped us decide to order the XP Lite. @Maineiac, I haven't read your posts as yet but plan on doing so now. I would have been suspicious of glowing testimonials - I get it that every bike has pros and cons. They helped us go in...

    New XP Lite...

We just ordered the XP Lite and I'd like to give you our perspective based on your points Fenders - my first reaction was to agree with you. But we only ride in good weather. Do we really need fenders? Time will tell and I may have to order them in the future Non-standard battery. We don't...

    Suggest Ebike for older riders

As the OP, yes I disagree. I can fix cars, motorcycles, boats and yes, even bicycles. I'm an Electrical and Electronic Engineer by education, but you didn't ask me, you just presumed. The reason I chose not to DIY is not ability but lack of time. The reason we're going low cost is because we...
