    Custom Riding Modes for Nyon

I just purchase the custom ride options for the Nyon. I am playing with different settings and would be curious to know what others have done. or are thinking of doing. My settings are posted below. In mode 1, I was trying to create an assist level that would just help to get me started and...

MY2021 N. America new models preview

I just purchased a Medeo T10+ and my LBS recommended installing a Tannus Tire Liner in each wheel. These are a different design than most tire liners. LBS states they have had very positive results. I have only had the bike about a week, but no flats in the first 120 miles!

    Nyon Display

I would like to see the watt output of the motor and battery voltage in real time. I don't believe Nyon offers this option, so maybe I need to start a 'wish list' for future updates to Nyon unless one already exists.

Installing larger chain ring on a gen 4 motor

I have a Gazelle Medeo T10+. The bike came with a 55T front chainring and 11-42T in the rear. Motor is gen 4. Tires are 28 x 2.0. So that arrangement does work with the Bosch system and it works well. Can't comment on how it was programmed since this is how the factory delivered the bike...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

So far my experience in shopping for the Vado 5.0 has been similar to yours. The LBS just wants to sell me what they have in stock. Right now I would just like to test drive the Vado 5.0 (step thru) and they say that the only thing they have is a Vado 3.0 which they state is similar except for...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

After reading the Vado Club forum I am still interested in purchasing a Vado Turbo 5.0. Found all of the comments very helpful and informative. I have owned ebikes for more than nine years starting with kits to convert first with hub motors and then graduating to mid drives. I do own an I...

    Aftermarket battery

I do own and e3 peak, I think it is a 2014 model year. The front chainring is actually easier to change than the rear cassette. You just have to purchase one with the correct bolt pattern (I think the one I purchased is in a previous post). It just bolts on. No special tools required. The...

    Aftermarket battery

I been riding with a 46t front chainring and upgraded rear cassette for more than a year with no problem. My bike came with 38t on the front. Only caution for chainring size consideration would be off road terrain riding and is your weight a consideration. I ride exclusively on the pavement...

Need new battery for 2013 izip E3 Peak

It was posted Nov 28, 2016. I think I purchased my kickstand at REI. I have attached a picture but can't find the brand. Below is part of the thread. I purchased the 13.5ah Carbon Shark Pack from Luna Cycle. I did not chose the high power option only the long range (+ $40). I also purchased...

New Chain, Cassette, Chain Ring-advice needed (E3 Peak-2013)

I replaced my cassette about a year ago with an Sram PG-990 11-32. I also replaced the chain with the KMC model for electric bikes mentioned above. I still have the original derailleur. What a difference, no more skipping, shifts like butter. This higher quality cassette is a major...

Need new battery for 2013 izip E3 Peak

Suggest you read my April 2016 post 'Aftermarket Battery'. I have over 1,000 miles on an aftermarket battery with no problems. It is far superior to the original. Only thing I lost was the battery charge indicator on the display.

    Aftermarket battery

Battery is fine, about 650 miles on it with zero issues. My Izip peak has over 3,700 miles. Only replacements have been brake pads, chain and rear cassette.

Where To Buy 2nd Battery For 2015 IZIP E3 Dash

I don't think the IZIP battery is a good fit for the BBSS02. I think if you can get $500 for it from someone who wants a dedicated battery for the Dash or Peak then sell it. I own an Izip Peak and replaced the original battery with a 48v 13.5ah frame mounted battery from Luna Cycle. Total...

    Aftermarket battery

I have around 400 miles on my aftermarket pack. I will not use the OEM battery again. I have had zero problems with the new setup. I did install an on/off switch between the battery and the motor. When I charge the battery I turn the switch off. I also have a cycle analyst on this setup and...

    Aftermarket battery

I purchased the frame mount battery about a month ago. It is 48v 13.5ah replacing a 48v 8.7ah frame battery. It works great, better than the original. You mentioned the amp/hrs what about the voltage? Some Izip products run on 36 volts. You might want to check the voltage of your old fully...

    Aftermarket battery

Speed, odometer, trip odometer and pas 1-4 all work. The back light sensor on the lcd works at night. In place of the battery meter are two flashing cursers. Range does not work (reads 0). I have not tested the error codes but expect that 8 and 9 will not work since there is no input signal...

    Aftermarket battery

There probably is away to connect it but I did not want to risk voiding what little warranty to find out. Also I would not want another two wires running out of the battery to deal with. Did you purchase a 52v pack? Better make sure the controller on the Dash can handle the 58+ volts when...

    Aftermarket battery

You do need to confirm that the lock has engaged before you ride off. I did notice when I thought the battery was locked on it was not. That said, I have not had a problem with the battery falling off. I charge the battery on the bike, so I don't remove it very often. Two charging ports are...
