Dost Drop vs Benno Boost vs Benno RemiDemi

I'll probably get my kid a remidemi when she's tall enough, they're sooooo cute.

Dost Drop vs Benno Boost vs Benno RemiDemi

I already ordered a new Boost. Should arrive mid to late January but will have monster torque at 85Nm. My older one only had 55Nm and was still decent at a hillclimb.

Dost Drop vs Benno Boost vs Benno RemiDemi

Most of the changes they make are to the battery and the torque. Look at those specs to see. Also, the newest one puts the battery upright behind the seat post instead of under the cross bar so we'll have better/more water bottle cage options. Did you decide what to get yet? So many great...

    Fifield Jetty?

She would DEFINITELY hate my 1/2 mile at that grade then. That was neat they built a track just to try different grades though!

    Fifield Jetty?

Cute, that hill is only a 23° grade though, lol.

    Fifield Jetty?

Interesting! Is torque most important for hill climbing assist? I don't see it listed but I have a 1/2 mile 30.5 degree hill that I need help on. ;)

    Fifield Jetty?

Ariel has a super tall minimum height Gocycle is super sweet but trying to keep it at 1500 or less (2000 if it's super amazing, lol) Haibike also quite pricy A fatter tire is fine, just want stability. I was originally thinking the RadCity (over the mini since it's lower with bigger wheels and...

    Fifield Jetty?

Looking for a short and lightish class 1 type with 20" or bigger wheels. Looks like the Dolphin and the Jetty are kind of the only ones that fit that. Pretty much the same price as the Jetty comes with the rear rack I'd want.

    Fifield Jetty?

I'm really surprised I'm not finding any reviews or info on here about the Fifield Jetty? It looks like a contender to me, along the lines of the Qualisports Dolphin but already includes a rear rack. I was wondering if it was a dog or too new to have many reviews maybe?

Rad Choice - smaller tires on Rad Rover

Glad it was comfy! I will most likely buy one as well though I'll probably never use the throttle, I just need the assist for hills.

Rad Choice - smaller tires on Rad Rover

Court shows that the Rad City has really low minimum seat height so hopefully that will be your best option! I like the bigger wheels, they always feel more stable and less squirly. Others have suggested you could always put different handle bars on them as well to lessen the reach. Might not...

    Rad, Lectric or Qualisports

Thanks for chiming in! My local dealer didn't sell the Volador I'm after anymore due to lack of interest they said. You mentioned the motor being strong. Their website says it can effortlessly climb an 18° hill. Our big hill problem is a half mile at 30.5°.... think the torque at only 40 is...

    Rad, Lectric or Qualisports

They told me the BF sale this year is only on accessories. They're popular enough now they aren't feeling the need to discount anymore. Good for them, bad for us, lol

    Rad, Lectric or Qualisports

Oh REALLY? On the phone today they told me 3 weeks! Interesting!!

    Rad, Lectric or Qualisports

And they have a military discount even. The other two don't. I wasn't sure if I should wait to see if Rad has a big black Friday sale or just go ahead and buy the Lectric since they take 3 weeks to get.

Dost Drop vs Benno Boost vs Benno RemiDemi

I have ridden all 3! I got rid of the Dost due to the cadence sensor. I live in San Francisco and climb really steep streets (think sidewalks that have stairs) so if I ever stop on one, a cadence sensor really bites. I LOVE everything about the RemiDemi except that there is no speed option...

    Rad, Lectric or Qualisports

Alright, having option paralysis here since we can't see these bikes in person and need someone to slap some sense into me. Important to mention, this would be for a kid so shorter and more stable is best, care about torque, not range. Lectric XP Step Thru is only $900 *highest torque - seat...

Poor After Sales Service - Rad Power

Awesome! That's what I was hoping to hear! I just need to reach out to a smaller shop, no problem! Excellent upgrades!

    Lectric ebike or similiar?

Where did you find the Lectric on Amazon? (not seeing it myself) And what problems required fixing?
