Phat Ebike Newbie Takes the Plunge

I see now, I was not aware that this was your bike. I used to walk my dog on a leash with a standard bike, then I heard how dangerous it was. She was very good and I never had a problem but I can see a dog crossing in front of a moving bike and all Hell breaking loose.

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Thanks. I had considered removing the battery but figured it was protecting the contacts in place. My cover did not cover the battery, only the display and seat.

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Yeah mine came with a cover for the display and bars that covers the seat as well. I learned it was not meant for travel, the wind did a pretty good number on it.

Throttle or no throttle. That is the question

This is how I feel. I used the throttle to get started, and I have a pretty powerful mid-drive. It also makes it easier to get the bike up the 3 stairs to the porch where it is stored. I also like the idea of having power to get back to the truck should I get hurt or break a pedal on a ride.

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

I reached out to Biktrix but never got a response. I was traveling and came upon big thunderstorms. As I could not find the answer I covered the bike with a cover but it acted like a parachute and killed my gas mileage. Was this unnecessary?

Phat Ebike Newbie Takes the Plunge

I'm trying to figure out how you can bike with a dog on roads for thousands of miles without the dog being at risk of being hit.

LockDown Fun - Show Us Pictures of Your Pets

Nice pic. I was a big fan of the neons (the small colorful fish) you have, so are you obviously by the number of them. I also liked angel fish (black and silver striped) but unfortunately I learned that angels like to eat neons. I didn't have the problem for a while, then they started...

LockDown Fun - Show Us Pictures of Your Pets

Good for you. When you take him to the driving range he gets out, walks around, then gets back in the car like a dog? Fascinating. We have a similar story. Our 2 dogs treed a small kitten by our driveway. We got them inside and the cat scurried off to the neighbors. My wife spent weeks...

Juggernaut Ultra 1000 vs. Nireeka Prime

For what it's worth I put up this thread recently after riding my Biktrix Juggernaut for a year and a half. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/a-year-and-a-half-with-my-juggernaut-here-is-what-i-have-learned.38513/#post-351455 I would strongly suggest you reconsider your thoughts on...

LockDown Fun - Show Us Pictures of Your Pets

You had a feral that loved car rides? That's more than unusual. I'm like you, I'm just not a cat guy that's the wife's jurisdiction. Now I've had friends with really cool cats. Friendly cats, cats they could play with. Unfortunately we never seem to have that type of cat. A few have been...

I'm not a regular here so I'm unsure of the rules. Preaching your beliefs as you lecture others seems to be a violation but I am not sure. Regardless it certainly does not seem appropriate for an ebike forum.

Thank you for your thoughts. I don't want to get into a theological discussion here but I do not believe in Heaven, I have said goodbye to Terra. But we know that's the deal and it beats the alternative of me going before her. But I'll get another long coat Shepherd in a few years, she was the...

This was Terra. I said goodbye as I held her in my arms on September 11th. It still stings but I know I'll get another one at some point.
