RadPower? (mine's spent more time waiting to be maintained than in use)

I can't believe the number of patches in that tube, but I do believe it. I've had a significant number of flats. All of mine were on the rim side if the tube, except one. After 5 unexplained flats, I found several burs on the spoke nipples. Grinding those off stopped my flats for the last 1600...

    Wheel Balancing

Thanks, out of round is not the issue I'm trying to address or the problem in this case.

    Wheel Balancing

Thanks that currently is how I will be addressing any balance issue. I'm trying to find a stand to use, where I can get each tire off the ground to spin them fast enough to see any vibrations caused by being out of balance. Out of round & alignment are not the issue I'm needing addressed.

    Wheel Balancing

I like the color idea, it also emphasizes the bounce caused by imbalance.

    Wheel Balancing

you remove the weight and reposition it in the correct position. I disagree on going fast enough. At 175 rpms, a 26 inch rim fat tire is covering about 13 to 15 mph. I can peddle and hold 22 mph for a couple of miles. The wheel will bounce if out of balance. I don't believe there is enough...

    Wheel Balancing

Starting to look for ways to balance e-bike tubed tires & wheels. Has anyone have a system they have had tried? Success and unsuccessful attempts would be appriciated.

Check your spoke heads in the rim for burrs.

    Curse continues! Rear flat again.....

Yep that is a hole in the making on the tire side of the tube. All my tube punctures have come from the head of the spokes have a burr on them. 6 flats in 1800 miles. Polished the nut heads with a dremel 500 miles ago, and have not had a flat since. I think excessive tire pressure caused at...

Help with squeak or chirp on front disk brake.

Ride it like you just stole it for about 300 miles, adjust brakes if needed. Squeek will go away, if not, ride it another 300 miles.

Bike Carriers - Kinda of a review

NO, I've had plenty of opportunities for a following LEO to talk with me. It's obstructed as all carriers pretty much are, I don't use a bike cover when traveling. I use it only at hotels overnight.

Bike Carriers - Kinda of a review

I thought I'd show how my Tilt-a-Ramp bike carrier works and looks. It's not pretty! It is very solid. Holds up to 400lbs and is easy to use. I have approximately $600 invested in the entire setup. It can handle very heavy bikes with ease without having to remove parts. I've taken an 1800 mile...

    Converting this to a mid-mount e-bike

I was leaning towards a 500 watt in my mind. I think you & friend are exactly right. Especially since I'll be sticking with the rim brakes. This project is looking very do-able, just need to get Mission Control to open those purse springs. ;)o_O

    Converting this to a mid-mount e-bike

Yep, it's scary going down hill. There has to be something with the rack and trail design on the front forks and weight all in the rear, that makes it not want to go fast. At 10 to 13mph its a really nice comfortable ride. Climbing hills at low speeds makes it want to wonder. That's why I'd like...
