I would say its applicable to the biktrix section as well since biktrix sells the Beast and the Beast and Bikonit are essentially the same just sold and branded by different companies.

I just submitted the repair request form and am waiting to hear back from FTH Power. This really sucks!!! i had just got the bike 2 weeks ago and was looking forward to some good riding. I do not blame Biktrix for this. They are doing a stellar job handling the situation.

That's a great question.... i will be using it primarily on the beach so a lower gear will be useful. Also i realized that because its a mid drive no matter what size chainring you have up front because the motor can spin well north of 150rpm it will always spin faster than you can peddle. So...

Hopefully someone "cracks the Canbus" and creates a program that can create modified firmwares that can be flashed via a tool similar to the Bafang BESST service tool.
