    Yes you are right, did not even think about it till you pointed it out. So I made mine out of rubber mat that is used to put in tool chest to stop tools from sliding around, however you can make it using a soda bottle instead. @christob Thank you.

    No I did not use any duct tape, just drilled 3 (1/8) holes per fender and used aluminum rivets to attach the mud flaps to the fender.
