    My New EVO City

I would have a dealer look at your bike and ensure the torque sensor is properly adjusted. Having to work hard to engage the motor is a good indication that the torque sensor is possibly out of adjustment. The opposite condition of the bike running on when you stop pedaling for more than a...

Evo Street Top Speed in pedal assist mode

Pedal assist on our bikes generally drops out at 22 to 26mph based on model and the specific controller program. The 2013 and early 2014 NEO's had a more aggressive program than the late 2014's and 2015 EVO models. We changed the profile late last year based on feedback that in ECO mode (which...

Nitro 48v battery on Neo 36v bikes.

Sorry "86..." I'd have to disagree on the difference in performance between the NEO Carbon and the Nitro Cross. I rode the Carbon for over a year before getting my Nitro Cross sample, and there is no comparison. The difference between PAS modes on the Nitro is significant and VERY noticeable...

Nitro 48v battery on Neo 36v bikes.

There are no plans to offer 48v batteries for any of our EVO bikes. If we decide to produce additional 48v models in the EVO form factor, then yes. I would also agree with Lenny on attempting to run a standards 350w motor with a 48v power source, not recommended.

    Easy Motion USA Introduction

Hopefully by riding your new EVO Street you'll lose weight...if that is one your goals. :p I've gone 64 miles on a NEO Jumper with 1900 ft. of climbing in 3 hrs 55 min., granted riding efficiently in ECO mode, but I doubt if most folks will ride for more than a couple of hours on their...

Fingers crossed! This year over last we saw 33% increase in capacity so very possible. How much more range do you need? Thx.

Cool! Swapping the display would be up to the dealer you buy the bike from, and of course based on whether he has one available and is willing to swap it.

    Easy Motion USA Introduction

Noted on the throttle mod. Good news, the larger display has already begun to show up as a running change on some bikes, i.e. my EVO Street sample. It's great for these old eyes and in addition to the traditional segment style battery charge indicator, includes % of charge which I found...

    Easy Motion USA Introduction

Honestly, ebike electronics are not that sophisticated, so technically it shouldn't be hard to do it, the question is whether we would add this provision and that I don't know.

    Easy Motion USA Introduction

Mike, thanks for you interest in BH/Easy Motion bikes. We have discussed the possibility of allowing throttle use in PAS. I can't speak to whether we plan to make this change though. I agree it would be a very nice feature and one I support. Regarding a twist throttle vs. a thumb throttle, I...

    Easy Motion USA Introduction

The Nitro Cross and City are out and reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. It's such a blast to ride, and unless you need significant range, I'd put it up against any other high speed ebike in it's class, nimble, quick, and accelerates smoothly an with authority right up to 30 mph. You...

    EVO Cross Questions

Kris, go for the EVO Cross or the EVO" 27.5, you won't be disappointed, and get bigger tires (I'm kinda partial to the 27.5 as it's just wonderful for both on and off-road use). You can always lock the fork out so that it is pretty rigid, negating the need for a solid fork. The added weight...

    2015 Evo Series Bikes @ Dealers / In-Stock When?

PowerMe, EVO Streets started showing up to dealers this week and we have very good availability. EVO Jets have been in stock for a couple of weeks now and smart dealers brought in both models. EVO Streets were the #1 2015 bike pre-ordered and for good reason, fit, features set, and best in...

Nitro 48v battery on Neo 36v bikes.

Vern, you can rest assured you will be able to get batteries for NEO bikes for years to come. At the point that we make the decision to no longer produce them should we do so, we have contracted with a 3rd party to repack your battery with fresh Samsung 18650 cells. By design, we have done our...
