    Crosscurrent air chain replacement question

And if you predominantly use that one gear you can probably get away with only replacing that particular cog - if they are not a set.

I'm too lazy to look it up but it might have a battery. I had one for my cars from Costco and it had a battery but you'd have to make certain it was charged!

Cool. I have a tool set with most standard and metric wrenches. I was concerned you couldn't torque the nut down enough or release it with the loctite they have on the threads. Looks like you just saved me $20!

LInklemming - you're going to remove that back wheel? Please let us know how that goes. I watched the Juiced video on it and it seemed rather straightforward - although the guy removing it probably had done it 100 times already. My experiences always seem much worse - even following along step...

I have a Lezyne that I've used for years on my road bike. It just works. There are many options that are cheaper and just as effective.

Agree with you. I was doing it to see for myself as well - I was interested how much of a difference there really was between the frame sizes.

More likely my ineptitude to take an exact measurement. I could easily be half a centimeter off. Just a quarter of a centimeter on each end of trying to determine the exact center of each end point would account for that.

Just measured it. My Large CCX is 59cm at the two points you have identified above. It was dead-on 59cm but I didn't use a level and eye-balled the center of each endpoint. If our measurements are correct then there is a 1cm difference in Effective Top Tube length between the XL and L CCX...

    CCX Voltage

Juiced tools their own battery pack in San Diego, California. To my knowledge they are not made in China and shipped over. They know their battery technology inside and out. From their own website under FAQ they state: For 52V 20% is about 45V and 80% is about 55V The fact that they use the...

From what two points did you take your measurement, Pete? I'll do the same.

    Serial # location?

My CCX is also in that same spot. Right on the steering tube engraved in large letters and numbers. On my road bike it's down near the bottom bracket.

I've got a large and several others have an x-large. I'm happy to take any measurement you would like down to the mm if that helps. If somebody with an x-large can do the same you'll have your answer.

Looking for some advice regarding selling an e-bike.

I'm sure you have already visited this, but just in case you haven't, how long is a while ago? If the bike only has 100 miles on it I'm thinking it should probably still be under some kind of warranty. Any chance you can get them to replace the battery under warranty?

    Battery voltages.

Feliz - this is from Juiced's FAQ on their website: What is the voltage value for 20% and 80% on my battery pack? For 48V 20% is about 42V and 80% is about 51V For 52V 20% is about 45V and 80% is bout 55V

From Pete's reply to me in another thread I found this graphic and used it to determine if a large would fit me. I'm very glad I did. It's only the seat tube that is different. Makes sense. In a YouTube video there's an interview with Tora somewhere and he states that he normally rides an XL...

eBike by far! You can really look around and there's no dread of hills. Each bike has it's benefits but for just the sheer joy of riding around more as a passenger the eBike is more fun. You can go very fast and travel far longer distances while still being outside in the sun and getting some...

I think you'll be fine with the Large. I'm 6'2 with a 34" inseam and it fits me fine. I would consider the fit to be compact. That's really the only word I can use to describe it. I don't feel like I'm swimming in the frame but the reach is close. I do prefer the road-bike type of fit as...

My eBike was $2500. My road bike was $2000. Both do different things. I know which one I have way more fun riding! ;)
