Can everyone tell us what is the FULLY CHARGED Voltage with your stock charger of your 36V/48V/52V battery & how many miles you have on it??

"When you say "around 58V" from your LCD display, do you mean 58.0 or 58.1 or 57.9? In any case 58V means 58/14 = 4.143V which fully charged is less than 4.2V" Ahh...because I can't recall the exact voltage. I've only charged it to full twice - and only the first time did I look at the voltage...

Can everyone tell us what is the FULLY CHARGED Voltage with your stock charger of your 36V/48V/52V battery & how many miles you have on it??

From Juiced's website: "The 52V pack when fully charged is 58.8V" This is for the 19.2ah battery. My CCX charges fully to around 58v using the controller's voltage readout.

Modern Outdoor Bike or Ebike Storage - very cool looking ...

This is interesting. We park both our cars in the garage. It's a 2.5 car garage and that extra half of a space is filled with - stuff. This includes 5 bikes and it's a pain to jockey them around. We don't hang them from the ceiling but have looked into that. A couple of these would be really...

    Non Juiced brand battery purchase

    I'm with you 2wheeler. For a $1299 battery I'd just buy a spare CCX for $1000 more!

Trek Verve vs. Juiced CrossCurrent S

I love my thumb throttle! I use it all the time. I accelerate from stoplights and stop signs using it and I'm at 20mph in a couple seconds and ahead of the cars so they can see me. I use it to go up hills. I use it any time the bike is completely stopped. I just thumb the throttle and begin...

"The Dirty Truth Behind Electric Vehicles"

I didn't read it but as somebody that has owned Teslas since 2013 and followed them long before that I've seen them all. Watching the Tesla forum folks decode them and pick apart their data used to be entertaining to me but now I just move on.

Trek Verve vs. Juiced CrossCurrent S

I have had no mechanical issues with my two month old Juiced CCX. I did have to replace the controller because a batch was shipped with the incorrect firmware. I only have a couple hundred miles on it but it has performed to my expectations so far. It's very powerful and fast and the battery...

    Recharging Monster Sized Batteries

Thanks for this! I've been reading about lipo battery bags but they're all too small for the gigantic 52V Juiced battery. This product looks like an excellent safety investment for storing your battery when you're on vacation or if you do charge unattended for some reason. $85 is a little...

First ride report & Low voltage setting for CCX

Good point. If the display is on one would imagine the battery never loses connection. And those look very clean. Thanks for sharing. I'll put a few more miles on mine and upload pics.

Motor Specs on Rad City 750 watt ? Anyone know them ?

You're right. He was discussing the merits of geared-drive vs direct-drive within the hub motor itself. My fault.

First ride report & Low voltage setting for CCX

The intermittent issue might be the battery contact problem a couple others have posted about. You might want to take a picture of the battery contacts and post back here if they show sparking damage. Yep, almost 58v fully charged.

Motor Specs on Rad City 750 watt ? Anyone know them ?

"Like no gears to create noise or maintenance issues" Except the potential massive effects on the drivetrain, correct?

Motor Specs on Rad City 750 watt ? Anyone know them ?

"Moral of the story: look at the torque rating if you want to know how powerful a motor will be, and know if you can climb hills with it. By itself, watt rating is virtually meaningless." I would also add that user reviews would be very helpful. Watching a 200lb guy ride any particular motor...

Motor Specs on Rad City 750 watt ? Anyone know them ?

I'm around 155lbs with cycling clothes and my Bafang 750w geared hub rear motor climbs everything I throw at it with ease. I just took the 11% Back Bay hill casually pedaling. That's a hill I've ridden a lot as a road cyclist and you absolutely have to get out of the saddle and pound away on...

I'm curious...for those of you who leave your bike locked for an hour or more, do you remove the battery and take it with you?

"Maybe I am just paranoid because of what I see go on daily with my profession" Exactly! I can't imagine the one-offs you have seen in your profession and it would probably deter me from leaving my house! My brother is an ophthalmologist and you better have protective eyewear on every minute...

I'm curious...for those of you who leave your bike locked for an hour or more, do you remove the battery and take it with you?

I'm starting to see a lot of eBikes down here in Orange County. Maybe it's because I have one and am now looking for them subconsciously, or maybe because there are many more of them. At our local grocery store it is no unusual to see one or two locked up to the bike rack. There's a lot of...

    Brian's CCX Journal

I agree with your assessment. I also only charge with the battery on the bike. After a ride I keep it outside in the backyard and park it next to an outlet and charge up. Minimize the destructive fire potential a bit, I guess. It's also very convenient. When I replaced the CCX controller I...

Nice 1-Hour Juiced CCX Fitness Ride

Merc - R mode supposedly really eats the battery. Do you know the starting and ending voltages for this ride? 1827ft is a LOT more elevation than my ride - and yours was 7 miles farther than mine. I would imagine in R mode with that elevation gain that you consumed a fair amount of the battery...

Nice 1-Hour Juiced CCX Fitness Ride

LOL...I'm a runner...seven miles a day...used to be an avid road cyclist...around 10,000 miles a year. I meant fitness ride in the sense that it wasn't just a leisurely 13mph ride in flip flops - which my previous few CCX rides have been. It's pretty hard for me to work up a sweat on an eBike...

Nice 1-Hour Juiced CCX Fitness Ride

Oh, I should have mentioned that the majority of the ride was done on Assist Level 3. There's a 3-mile portion around the Back Bay that is an actual road (one-way with bike lane) and I used S mode for that so around 5-6 miles were on S mode. The 31.5mph was achieved around the Back Bay on S...
